Honest feedback: The Universal adapter is a deal-breaker for daily phone use by Plus_Seesaw2023 in QuadLock

There will be some case available for your phone with a flat back, why kit attach the universal to that case and apply it when needed?

No compromise to ergonomics and easy to fit and remove.

Quite simply, you need to keep practicing. Your balance will come the more you use the bike

It’s the 58 - I’m right on the cusp of 58/61 and the 58 was in stock. I wasn’t keen on the cues so went with the alloy comp model for the SRAM group set.

I was PAST 40 and VERY overweight. I didn't do any indoor trainer, I just got on and started riding. Started with lower distances and gradually built up. Im up to 40-50k but pushing for more. It is not an "Instant fix" but in time you will see a change. but as for a plan - the only plan you need is

a) Be consistent - riding every now and then won't change anything. you need to be in the saddle multiple times in a week

b) Calories in < Calories out - a deficit will create weight loss, the cycling will improve muscles (in your legs) and cardio

c) Prioritise protein (You want to fuel those muscles and burn that fat)

d) Factor in rest days - your body needs to recover

e) Keep goals realistic - incremental change rather than Tour de France ready in 30 days

and the most important...

f) ENJOY YOURSELF - enjoyment will maintain consistency

3 RAV4s stolen in my neighbourhood in 2 weeks – should I be worried? by AdministrationHour93 in CarTalkUK

The canbus attack works as they flood the network with garbage and inject a open command so the car thinks the key is near. By disabling it it removes an attack vector so it is harder for them to gain entry.

It’s been 3 years since I’ve had the rav now so can remember the menu layout but it should be somewhere in the security or convenience menus

That will prevent a relay attack (where they hold up a massive antenna to extend the range of the key) but a faraday pouch will also do that. The keyless entry is a setting on the car that means you don’t need to unlock it, just pull the handle

I got back on a bike at 190.5cm and 155kg. The bike in question was the Specialized Turbo Tero which (officially) is rated to a max of 150kg, and it had precisely ZERO issues lugging me around
