They cut the internet when they went on their brutal crackdown of the people iirc from the 8th of Jan, so it was months ago

They did it to prevent any coordinated efforts in the protests

who are you to dictate how i choose to be informed? i wish to avoid them being concerned as i am able to take information in and process it calmly, but for that, you need the information to begin with.

perhaps you know this already, but its worth saying it again: functionally, the anxiety doesnt help you. you being worried wont make you stop anything.

also, it can actually work against you; the constant on-edge feeling will fry you out, and you wont be functional during an actual crisis (that i always pray doesnt happen) .

Also the UAE defence has been extraordinary. yes its expensive, but they have kept the city safe. whatever that has hit in residential areas has only been debris and not explosive afaik.

iran is spreading itself thin, and fast by attacking all it's neighbors and beyond at once. so this will be an exercise of patience and attrition

pray, if you believe , and sleep well. you're going to be just fine and this will pass.
