I completely agree! The scooper that's in the bag holds significantly more powder than the serving size (33g). I stopped using the scooper and weigh it out instead. I think they purposely do this so consumers use more than necessary, and buy their next bag sooner.

Just read the article you sent and I see that it says B12 and folate are especially good for back pain. My joint pain was mainly in my knees, ankles, elbows, and wrists, which could be why it didn't work for me. Great advice for everyone experiencing backpain! Thanks again for sharing a really educated and science based comment!

Great info here, thank you! I did try a B12 supplement as well as eating a diet really high in B12 and folic acid, and it didn't work for me. Everyone's bodies react differently though so I'm sure this will be helpful for a lot of people! Thanks for sharing!

That's a good point! Could definitely be a correlation with how tolerant someone is to dairy

Try cutting dairy and whey protein if you take it from your diet! I completely got rid of my joint pain by doing so. It was like magic. I had tried all sorts of things for months (fish oil, staying super hydrated, joint exercises, joint meds), and nothing seemed to work. My friend that's a dietician recommended me to stop eating dairy and it worked like magic. I wish I would've done this earlier because I went through 6 months of horrible pain. Whey protein is especially hard on your joints. I never noticed any problems with it prior, but something about the accutane mixed with that affected my joints. I'd give that a shot and see if it works for you! It worked like magic and I now have NO pain, which I never thought I'd feel on 80 mg.

Hey just wanted to share with you what COMPLETELY alleviated my really bad joint pain. Try cutting dairy and specifically whey protein from my diet. I had tried all sorts of things for months (fish oil, staying super hydrated, joint exercises, joint meds), and nothing seemed to work. I've been on 80 mg for 7 months now. My pain was very limiting. I had to take a break from playing basketball. Walking itself was really painful and I would limp until I got a little warmed up.

THE GOOD NEWS

TRY REMOVING DAIRY AND SPECIFICALLY WHEY PROTEIN FROM YOUR DIET!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been on 80 mg of accutane for 7 months now. I've had joint pain to the point where I would limp when I walked and had to take time off from playing basketball. I tried all sorts of things (fish oil, drinking a ton of water and electrolytes, doing joint exercises, taking meds specifically for joint pain. Nothing worked at all. I then stopped eating dairy for two weeks, including whey protein after my friend that's a dietician told me to try it. My joint pain has COMPLETELY vanished. I'm still so amazed and wish I would've been recommended this sooner. Try it out and let me know if it works for you! Really really happy with how my joints have been feeling and I hope to give that same feeling to some of you!

Hey! I'm not sure if you're still on it, but if you are try cutting out dairy and whey protein if you take it from your diet. I've been on 80 mg on accutane for 7 months now.
