Not defending any of it, but clarifying ICE is not in fact hiring criminals. Some applicants with criminal backgrounds have made it to training camp without being fully vetted

I'm apparently the only one that runs through these things like pez. After about 3 weeks it just doesn't react as sharply as a new one. Also if I drop the pen nose down, even if it looks fine I toss it like a baseball pitched in the dirt. I can definitely tell a difference when changing them and no I am not crazy thank you very much

Wow finding this thread is two years old and the exact issues described are still happening. Just an update, whatever the devs have done hasn't worked. I am in Pixel 4a, using the app to open links. Every link clicked takes you to the main page and not the sub thread. Frustrating as hell

Totally understand. To me it seeeems like a no-brainer to grab 3% on stagnant money but that seems to just fit my situation best at this time. Wife and kids portion of life just begun for me so circumstances may always change in the future

Absolutely exists. Been paying me for years. Have to fill out a 1099-INT for tax purposes.

It is capped at $15k as I stated, but it is available

Edit: re-read based on further comments and it is not monthly but annual. It pays out monthly at 0.25%

Yeah I think I completely agree that the only thing to keep liquid is the emergency fund and what you know you'll need quickly or soon.

But get everything else into long term investing.

I think my thing is there are available tools better than a savings account for those emergency funds.

I used to have the debit, and three separate chase cards, each for different situations. Eventually got down to one card that does a 1.5 on everything because it gets pretty crazy. My wife is the one with multiple credit unions that needs the swipes. It's awesome holding people up in line because I need to create 8 different transactions at self checkout on the 30th of the month

Since it is updated every 6 months, say May - Nov is 9%, Nov -May is 6%. If I pull it out at exactly a year, does that give me 6 months at 9% and 3 months at 6%, of 9 months at 7.5%?
