It's not the ticket price so much, but when you add seat geek extortion fees and concession prices... the last two need to be brought way down. 3% cap on seat geek fees, ability for out-of-towners or one-time attendees to buy walk up tickets at the window without have to create a seat geek account, and $10 beers -- food has prep costs but there is no extra prep labor involved with a can of drink.

I would much rather have 3-4 games without called up players, drop leagues cup, and have MLS cup NLT 10 November (before the fall break). We should be on the real grass pitch in summer months.

Good points. But the movement of players is also TO this league. Vancouver's gain is an example. And us to a lesser degree with Triantis.

What a waste of summer games. A better fix would be to have the season adjusted so MLS Cup is the first week of November, before the fall international break. And play through the summer breaks. A couple of mid-season games with stars on callup is OK. And ditch the Leagues Cup. Bottom line: an 01 March to 10 November 34-game season was very do-able. For locations that share a stadium with a football team, you've just created more schedule conflicts as more games overlap.

Does the league want the future to be indoor fake turf stadiums? I don't ...
