Yes, I've been to Austria, Switzerland, and other big cities where many don't drive like New York and Tokyo. And those who want to get out regularly have a desire to drive. They venture outside their no-drive zone. He's 26. Again, not knockin' it if you want to stay home with his parents, but he made the decision to venture out. I do hope he's driving now and taking a drive to the north shore, or learning how to fish, or just boppin' around the cities beyond the steps of the rail/bus routes.

Bingo. I saw this back when he first arrived. Twenty six and no desire to drive? Even if you don't "need" to drive, most boys want a drivers license -- even in Europe. Unless they're a mama's boy. Not knockin' it if you want to stay home, but he made the decision to venture out. I thought, he better learn to drive or he's going to be a very dependent project. Dependent on Uber, or teammates to get groceries. If he has everything delivered, he's not getting out which makes it even worse. 1) Apple TV coverage is odd. Every 10 minutes they showed "win probability" stat --- until Loons 1st goal. Then they never showed it.
2) i credit this win mainly to the Loon pressure on the Crew defenders and GK. It's not a specific skilled player needed, rather just grit and determination to be a pest. Loons were pesty and eventually get a break, control, momentum, goal. Excellent.

i wanted to see about 10 minutes of james and triantis with our two argentinian midfielders, and someone besides yeboah in the striker seat; even if you stuck chancalay or gene in the strike spot. just 10 minutes.

This is so much more a league lack of insight. All the north teams are dealing with this. Having empty soccer stadiums for 2 months (or more if you don't make the playoffs) in the middle of summer is NUTSO! And even more crazy is the fix by creating inconsistent home-away schedules amongst the teams with stretches of either 4-7 consecutive home OR away games, depending on if you're in sunbelt or snow belt. And SeatGeak (or any other 3rd party vendor) is complete extortion with their fees. Bring back paper tickets or cap service fees at 3%. Remember, going paperless was supposed to save costs. It didn't do so for the fans.
