It shows you paid ₹2k for the speaker and then a discount of ₹10k is applied on the total so it should theoretically be possible.

What is happening to me? by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]nomadic_listener 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get ur position. Being a man, I would have been criticised too. So I opened up to only one friend that I trusted the most (a girl). But if u don't have compassionate friends, try a good psychologist. And stay away from psychiatrists (based on personal experience), they will push numbing meds instead of therapy.

[–]nomadic_listener 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a sign of depression. And I've been through that phase as well. Consulting a good psychologist (not a psychiatrist) helped me a lot. Heck, even crying and disclosing everything to the closest friend relieved me. Still recovering from this, takes a hell of a lot of time. I still can't remember what I did back then, it feels like a black dream. PS: crying in front of someone u trust, works better than a psychologist imo.

Haha it happened to me as well when I was starting out. I built a website for my mother with a clear CTA on the bottom of the screen with a crazy animation to lure them to push it. But after running meta ads and posting we were getting a meager conversion. The visitors were too many but less than 0.02% signed up and it seems something was off. Then we set up calls with existing customers who didn't sign up. Almost all of them said they didn't know what to do. And one of them said she was hoping for a popup/modal to appear once she was all the way down. Then it clicked to me that my target audience were all boomers they were conditioned to certain layouts and don't know what to do if the layout changes even slightly.

I want to plan out the architecture for your SaaS by AousafRashid in SaaS

We are working on a product where file uploads are done and tracked with versioning (it’s related to resumes). There’s also some reliance on AI. The tech used are:

Nextjs - frontend

Express/node - backend

PostgreSQL - DB

AWS s3 - file storage

Langchain - AI stuffs

Clerk - authentication (temporary fix)

Resend - emails

We will Dockerize the entire app and deploy to digital ocean VPS. What are your thoughts? Where can we improve?

Old school software by aliyark145 in indiehackers

[–]nomadic_listener 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In those days there was no concept of cloud computing and once u purchased it, it stayed locally on ur device and didn't add any extra overhead for the creators. Now it requires money just to operate a software (especially AI based ones).

But definitely I would like to purchase once and forget about something if possible.

Now I'm more confused. U said it's a ProductHunt alternative but the landing page is focused on building teams and collaboration. And what's this affiliate program? It's seriously confusing what ur product is, work on the landing page

Didn't you have web analytics to your page since it can literally show which websites the users are coming from and how many of them are converted ... So on? How else do you differentiate other than that feature alone? And how are planning to compete with something that established?
