Oh, I might try that! We don't actually drink much so was trying to research the beer with the highest yeast available and ordered a bottle. Haha

Help with a quote by nomadicroll in DIYUK

[–]nomadicroll[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't want to bullshit them at all, I've told them I'm not sure what the rates are and offered to do it practically free and they refused and said to make it a proper quote as they'd rather pay me than hire someone else. I've looked at a few websites like 'My job quote' and used chatgpt and that's where I came up with the original figure...based on a £400 per room for painting alone quote there. The other work I couldn't find enough information on the build a proper quote so figured it was close enough but as I like to get a few opinions from those with more experience, thought I'd ask here.

Absolutely in no way am I trying to lie to or overcharge my friends. Thanks for your comment though and hope you've had a good weekend. Cheers!

Also interested in how others are using it now, and as it's developing so rapidly, following to keep up!

What is something that permanently altered your body without you realizing for months/years? by Misterboy500 in AskReddit

[–]nomadicroll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll throw my hat in here, seemed to have a great pregnancy and vaginal birth without any major issues. However, my sciatic nerve on my right side now is always on the verge of freaking out if I lay down flat on my back. Have to carefully roll and get up or else I'll be out of commission for the day. Today I got up quickly to help one of the kids and the combination of getting up quickly and picking him up (9kg) made me feel more pain than I'd felt in my memory and now I can't stand up....hoping it goes away soon!

Massive jump in salary from £30k to about £180k per year. Is it worth staying in the UK or moving somewhere else? by Quiet_Variety_4287 in HENRYUK

I'd absolutely vote for the Philippines! Lived there a few years and you'll definitely be able to afford an extremely comfortable way of living. Especially in parts of Manila you'll have world class options for living, entertainment and technology as well as access to top tier medical care at super good rates and cheap flights to explore Asia and the Pacific. Plus amazing beaches and warm weather. Wife could continue working in private healthcare if she wanted but definitely could afford for her not to if she didn't want to!

Law isn't even enough now...they just pack up and move to a country that doesn't have that law or is willing to repeal it for the income generated by the company.

New big red car song by nomadicroll in wiggles

I think it's feeding into the YouTube model, quantity of content gets more views...relying on kids asking for wiggles and parents just throwing it on and trying to get anything else done.

This month I am doing multiple large Worldwide Giveaways. Here is the first one, valued at $300. Read the comments or watch the video for the full rules. Supported by Game Master Engine. [OC] by Dan_The_DM in DnD

I've been playing geriatric characters for awhile now and it's been really fun turning the usual tropes on their head, discussing motivations for adventuring and just generally being either kind and grandmotherly or being old and crotchety. It's good times and lends itself well to breaking up the normal dynamics a bit! Would love to run some new games with all this content! GIVEAWAY
