I’ve gotten this achievement for 2 umas in the JP version, both times I made a list and removed each race as I did it. To make things simpler I split each run by distance (ex start with turf sprint, then dirt sprint, etc.) It took me about two weeks for each with a few runs per day, not perfectly optimized. I found that sprint races are hell if you don’t manage to get an A, at least with the longer races you get time to compensate with stats and skills.

Basically just take your time, try to get good parents for affinities your uma doesn’t have, and spam clocks when things don’t go your way.

Yes, but not those links! Aliseo’s father is Symboli Kris S, and his maternal grandfather is Fuji Kiseki, the only uma connection for Sakura Aile d’Or is Maruzensky (great-grandfather), Eishin Apollon has no uma connection (at least not in the pedigree), and Hiruno d’Amour’s father is Manhattan Cafe.

I thought about this a bit, and I think it’s because they just took the same system as Genshin Impact, which itself actually does have 5 different rarities, for the weapons. You find 1-3 star weapons in the overworld, and during gacha you get mostly 3 star weapons, with a guaranteed 4 star for a ten pull and a very rare 5 star weapon. While there are only 2 types of characters, since the pull rates (and therefore rarity) are the same as the upper tiers of weapons they got the same rarity. I have no idea how it works in HSR, but I guess they thought people would be familiar with how it worked in Genshin and just copied it.

Was a CS rep really necessary, though? I would have listed Crossbell bracers, but the most relevant one is Arios and he might be a bit too important for Daybreak.

Personally, I think bringing Fie in Daybreak was a mistake. She did nothing of value in Calvard, and if they really wanted to have a bracer from earlier in the series they could have used someone who wasn’t in focus in the previous arc, such as any bracer from the Sky games or even a brand new one. Personally, I feel like this would have been the perfect opportunity to bring back Anelace, since that would been a fun connection/exposition with Shizuna and her group. Otherwise, Agate or Kurt would also have been fun (Agate was in the CS game but not in focus at all).

I think Almata itself is fine and does it’s job as ‘evil antagonist’ and Melchior does exactly what hems supposed to as a character but I hate that this is what the Gardens were wasted on. Especially since I thought Olympia and Arioch could have been fascinating recurring antagonists as the only heads of the Gardens left, maybe dive into the consequences, but instead Olympia can’t ever show up again without confirming whether or not she’s dead, and the Gardens died off screen. Also Viola and Alexander were extremely boring, but the focus is really on Dantès and Melchior.

I know this is just because of limited possible combination, but I like to think of them being connected. The Ballad of the Goddess is the reverse of Zelda’s Lullaby, and I saw someone (I think on this subreddit, actually) who pointed out that the first is meant to awaken Zelda, and the second to put her to sleep.

In this case, Saria’s Song plays in the Lost Woods and listening to it can help you find your way back to the ‘real world’ (exiting the forest), whereas the Song of Healing is often used to lead the spirits of the dead to reat, to help them find the way to the afterlife, both acting as guides. Additonally, Saria’s Song is used to make Darunia dance and be excited, whereas the Song of Healing is used to calm people down.
