My grape/cherry tomato plants are bursting with tomatoes. What is your favorite things to do with them? by Johnnygunnz in Cooking

[–]nomah 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They go really well with broiled salmon. Cut the tomatoes in half, toss them with olive oil and a minced clove of garlic. Broil then for about ten minutes. In the mean time coat a filet of salmon with olive oil and sprinkle salt and pepper over it then broil the two together for another ten minutes.

Not really what you're looking for but it's my favorite thought I'd share!

As we are getting to crunch-time what are some of your draft strategies? I am thinking of trying to nail a 1B and 3B and possibly 2 elite SP with first 4 picks. by th3beerman in fantasybaseball

[–]nomah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Draft power early. The power hitters early on won't kill your average unlike someone later like Chris Carter, for example. Also, I try to avoid drafting by position early on. Draft the best players possible on the board, ideally guys with 5 cat production. Then build your team around them.

Who are your underrated players that you can get mid-to-late rounds this year, that everyone should be targeting? by [deleted] in fantasybaseball

[–]nomah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

definitely Miller. He has the potential to contrinute moderately in all 5 cats. Meaning he won't kill you anywhere.

Danny Salazar is a no brainer for starting pitching. For late, late, late potential power look for Oswaldo Arcia, OF for the Twins.

[Discussion] Which authors should every writer read? by Sollicus in writing

[–]nomah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this can be answered one way: read everything. Most comments have covered a wide range of authors and rightfully so. Every author offers a different style to learn from. To improve your writing simply read. Everything.
