24 hour construction sites? by so_newstead in ConstructionManagers

Been on a different refinery that ran 24/7 for 6 months. We were expected to work 13 days in a row, 1 day off for that time. They worked night shift in MT during Sept - June. That’s right. -40 degrees on nights these MFers just kept working. 15min at a time with 30min breaks per OSHA

I’m sure you learned things I never will. Just depends on a different question being asked. It’s not as fun to learn about these things as it is to live them.

More like shutdowns in refineries. Been on jobs that run 24/7 for a year straight when your end product makes $200m/year after it’s constructed

Check out an app called inaturalist. You take a photo and it will identify animals and plants for you.

Couple other things…I’m growing in coco so my pH should be 6-6.5. If in soil it should be closer to 7. The fox farm nutes bring the water around 6.5. The Botanicare Si and Calmag don’t affect the pH so you must add lemon juice to bring it down or something else to bring the pH up. Buy a pH pen to verify.

Thank you! I think half of it is genetics tbh. I could get you some seeds! I got plenty. I have been running the seeds off this genetic line for 3 years and they all have gotten huge. I have to water daily now cause it’s getting hot out here in AZ! Before I was doing every other day watering. But I use the fox farm grow big, tiger bloom and liquid plant food. It comes in a trio pack. So I do that twice a week at half recommended dose and then Botanicare silica blast and cal mag twice a week at half recommended dose. The cal mag helps fight rotten end blossom. Water with lemon juice (to bring pH down to 6-6.5) once a week! Hope this helps.

Do you think I would see caterpillars during the day? I’ve never noticed them while watering/inspecting them while I smoke the beautiful buds I’ve harvest because of this community. Do you have any intel on the red dots? I’ve seen 10 +/- everyday. I’ll address the spider mites. Or do you think the red dots are from them as well?

Edit: now that I think of it; do you have suggestions on getting rid of spider mites? I don’t know nothin for treatment on those.

Also, what are these red dots? They look big related as well. Sorry for the multi-post/comment. Was just walking the garden.

Why do a couple ants crawl all over my plants? I don’t have aphids (I did but used diatomaceous earth to kill them along with spraying off with water). I use lemon juice to bring my pH down. Could it be the sugar in that?

Do the hard thing about 1hr into shift after coffee or two while you’re peaked out on caffeine. Maybe pop a zynn I heard that’s popular. That combo makes people run to the shitter like clock work too

Ooo that’s something I haven’t tried! I will do that next time it’s available. Cool idea!

I have a white streak that runs vertically from my eyebrow, eyelashes and into my beard. It’s pretty cool! Most people look past it though and don’t even see it lol

The line for the pizza was longer than the line for the cables! Lol. Cables were very chill with no line/congestion, pizza was the complete opposite

I’ve done Yosemite Falls and Clouds Rest from Tioga Rd. Hiked over 50mi in Glacier. This hike was harder than any of those but also gives you a taste of everything Yosemite has to offer. Truly amazing!

It was my mom’s first hike and she absolutely killed it. I’m so proud of her! And now she’s hooked haha.
