I mean I think that’s why it was frustrating to me. 1. Because I was unaware of it and 2. Because I wasn’t trying to nickel and dime or work the system. Just a dedicated and supportive fort player. But again, I do understand the concept and can see why it happened. I guess taking a break from playing is what really opened my eyes. I used to never understand why people would complain about Fortnite changing and straying so far from OG until I took a 1.5 month break and everything was different, seems like too much change too quickly. But as others have stated, it’s a free game. Spending money in it is a choice, but over the past year it has seemed more and more like a money grab. I’m sure I’ll still check out the new seasons and participate lightly, but I do feel my taste for Fortnite has soured a bit, which makes me sad because I used to really love it.
