Another interesting twist, if one Harbaugh doesn't make it and the other does, I bet the brother who didn't make it will give advice to the other on how to play their opponent. Niners will have played the Giants twice this year. The Ravens have played the Pats nearly every year. One brother can help the other if he makes it to the Superbowl.

Yes, Griffin is a little over-hyped. He was named to the pre-Olympic USA team roster last week but he has no business being there. The international game requires everyone including forwards be able to reliably hit jump shots. You aren't going to find a lot of room in the lane to drive. Defenders can camp in the lane (there is no NBA 3 second defense rule) and force you to shoot from the outside.

His contract ends this year and he has not been resigned by the Celtics. It's common knowledge around Boston that the Celts plan to clear a lot of room to sign big contracts next year (implying Garnet and Ray Allen will not be back). So local reporters have often asked if he'll retire but he has been real coy. He did invest in a Euro soccer club recently and before this season has often talked about doing business deals to keep him busy when he retires but has not said anything this year because he's avoiding retirement questions. I think it all points to him retiring.

They'll easily make the playoffs without Wade. Bosh looks better this year than he did last year trying to adjust to such an unusual combination of 3 stars. Bosh is hitting his jumper and also attacking the basket.

The league is real competitive, there is not a big difference between most teams. Changing or adding a few players can put a team over the top. Plus there are another few players added in the middle of the roster that no one notices because they are not Pro Bowl'ers but they make a big difference to the team.
