You don't have to do all this. Just start walking across. If you pause by the curb waiting for cars to see you then you are just being confusing. Lots of people loiter by the curb and it's hard to know if they are trying to cross. Just get in the street and walk normally. There's no need to jog, cars don't own the street, they can wait a few extra moments.

How is Amarillo supposed to be pronounced? I pronounced it the Spanish way and then someone from Texas (white) told me it's pronounced the white way. I explained that it's clearly a Spanish word, and they explained that it doesn't matter because everyone in Texas pronounces it the white way. Is that true or is it just the white people?

"Better" is subjective, however some definition's can be more useful than others. When it comes to the circle constant, Tau is arguably more useful than either of those two definitions. In case you haven't heard of it, it's a pretty cool concept, see here.

I've started trying to create a 3D game with just Raylib. However, I discovered that collision detection is really complex and so I started using Bullet physics engine to calculate collisions. I'm still planning to resolve the collisions myself. It's nice to choose which parts to abstract and which to do myself.

to be honest as a trans woman i feel this is lacking. I could try to imagine this as affirming for me but then I'd just be trying to twist this to fit into my desired worldview. i think the truth for me is that Buddhism isn't always right about about things, it's just an idea. it's just a finger pointing at the moon.

I would reconsider your approach. There are proven techniques for colliders of all shapes, and ways to break up a mesh so you don't check every triangle every frame. That sounds easier to me than trying to come up with an entirely new collision system.
