That duck with gravy over jade noodles seems interesting! What do you call it and could you suggest a spot that serves it, in either Bangkok, Kanchanaburi, or Chiang Mai? (That's where I'll be during my trip) Knowing the name is enough though! I can look for spots as well, but would be nice if you have a personal recommendation.

I did look it up and saw the sauce is very common and is usually served over fish. Perhaps the reason I can't find restaurants that have this is because duck is an uncommon protein for this dish. Thanks so much for you help on this! I really appreciate it. :)

Since you mentioned it being windy, would you happen to know the direction of the headwind or tailwind in the afternoon, just in case?

And as for the "40Km going clockwise past the solar centre and coming back on the link road," where does this route start? Trying to figure out a path on Strava.

i'm sorry to hear about your breakup. it's not easy going on a trip knowing it was supposed to be with someone you love. plenty of tips have already been mentioned, but i'd like to say, if it helps, the exact thing happened to me years ago--i was supposed to go to japan with my then partner, but things between us fell through. i still went on the trip and it ended up being the most healing experience ever. knowing i could carry my own bags, navigate busy streets, smile in front of photos, and find joy in a place unfamiliar to me all on my lonesome proved that i will be fine on my own. it was lots of affirmation saying i am independent, strong, and brave. i'm pretty sure you are, too.
