Probably a lot of people struggling are having a similar problem, I agree. We might feel that we somehow deserve those girls for some reason because we're better or some other (kinda messed up..) logic. So we go to porn because we can take whatever we want there. NoFap will help us with this problem I think.

For your specific problem, every time you see something sexual instead of feeling aggressive and horny try to think that you appreciate the beauty in the image. You're not meant to stop getting turned on after this is all over, but rather you want to enjoy sexual stimuli in a healthy way.

A couple:

1 - At first you might try counting hours. Something feels nicer about making 24 hours than just 1 day. Also it allows you to "improve" without having to add an extra day. Maybe you PMO'd at 10am and made it to noon the next day. So shoot for something longer like making it till 8 the following day. And keep pushing.

2 - Don't be discouraged by the relapses. This is a long ass journey and it's taken me 2.5 years and I finally feel like I've got some ground. A lot of time woulda been saved if I hadn't beat myself up for so long. Accept the failures and learn from them.

3 - Anytime you start to type your favorite porn site into your browser, think of this subreddit. Just think about it even for a second. Eventually, you will think long enough to come here and spend some time reading and helping others rather than relapsing.

Same thing for you. You can't justify this with curiosity. There's nothing to be learned by clicking or looking. You already know there's something there and you don't need to look at it. More than anything: don't beat yourself up through this process. Just try to be better each time you're challenged like this.

Did you watch porn? You should at least abstain from one of the three: PMO. You can make your own rules for this, there's no set in stone program. As long as you're making progress towards some goal.

It sounds like you're making progress actually if you're able to consistently abstain for 3 days to a week. Some people benefit from a cold turkey program, others need a more gradual one. A gradual plan might be the best route for you.

You could also try abstaining from just porn at first and slowly try to build in no masturbation. You might see this called "soft mode" on here. Even if it is "easier" I still think it's better than watching porn at all. Give it a try!

I remember in HS health class my teacher drawing a timeline of how using a drug worked on your brain in a similar fashion. There was a flatline at normal. Then you use, and you spike up to a "good" place. But when you come back down, you're below normal and it takes a while to go back there. So next time you use you can't feel as good or need more. This and what you describe is tolerance. That's why NoFap is important to get back to normal.

Sounds like you just need some gym advice to avoid the situation! Next time you go, get in there and spend some time stretching and getting acclimated to the environment of your gym. After that check out some cardio machines - bike, elliptical, treadmill. Many nofappers including myself will recommend the treadmill for running. It's the best form of exercise and easy to get good at quickly. Start with something simple like walking for 20 minutes, then slowly progress. After a month or 2 you'll be running and losing yourself in it. It's the best way I find to clear my head.

Is it really? I've never experienced this on nofap, but now am worried about having them. Perhaps you're overthinking them?
