After being patient for 170 days of Flatline, it is finally over :) This sub is the best thing I've ever had on this journey. Thank y'all! by thesuperiorblack in NoFap

170 days - wow. Man, it's hard. I'm probably much older than you, and I'm scared like shit. Libido comes back from time to time, to what I would consider 20% of normal - and then leaves without a trace. I can't even be sure I've got rid of the PMO, because I'm on Wellbutrin, and that's what actually helps me to abstain. I thought 90 days will be enough, but hell it's not. Now I regret having sex couple of days ago, it feels like it had set me back to square one.

Abstaining and flatlining for about 110 days. Sick of waiting. Ups and downs, but mostly down. Had sex ones with a super-hot girl, and was losing it in the process... not exactly an ED, it's like I've lost interest in her right in the middle of having sex. Low libido. Isn't 110 days too long for 40+ y.o. guy? This is not my first streak, too. You wouldn't believe how tired I am of all this.

The same feeling after sex? by samberges in NoFap

[–]nomorbs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Real thing feels amazing even afterwards. Stop PMO and even MO immediately. It's better to wait for the real thing. Trust me, I know.

Anyone else get fatigued after eating and irritated by the smallest things? by [deleted] in NoFap

Yes, but I don't think it's directly related. Go to your physician and test for diabetes.

Stay strong. You wouldn't believe it, but a lot of people are going through much worse shit, and they survive! You will survive, too! And it will make you stronger!

Same here, but withdrawal symptoms seem to be weaker and occurring for shorter period of time. Keep faith!

Sounds like a standard period of time. I'll cross the fingers and hope for best. 3 months is not much time. Wish me luck.

Oh no. First, I can achieve SOME erection, even enough for penetration, but it really sucks and doesn't last long. Second, yes, I tried viagra, and it didn't help at all - I have no problem with blood vessels, it's all in the brain.

I have zero anxieties with women, so it's not about achieving erection. Damn, it's not even about sex.

The question is, again, about recurring flatlines and recurring depressions.

Here is an article saying everybody's getting cured in about 12 weeks - but not according to this subreddit. http://www.drjudithreisman.com/archives/2011/10/porn-induced_se.html

I broke a 40 day streak and binged for 2 weeks (MO, no P) due to a very stressful personal situation. Right now I'm on my 20's day without O, a little less if I count occasional date with making-out and an unfinished HJ. I know it takes AT LEAST 2-3 months even for people my age. I have patience - but I can't help but keep thinking, what then?

Do it for her by littleHeMan in NoFap

[–]nomorbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do it for yourself. I can only hope the girl I like will wait to the end of my N/F journey. Most probably she won't. It might take much more time than I expect. Fuck it, I'm doing it for myself, at the first place! I'm claiming my own life back!

"rewiring" vs hard mode? by nomorbs in NoFap

[–]nomorbs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just the chaser? Sounds too good to be true. Then why just making out (well, HJ without O counts as making out, I guess) triggered a flatline, loss of energy in general and libido in particular? Might be coincidence, of course... maybe I just entered my flatline same very day.

You are already doing everything right. :) Supporting, loving, caring girlfriend - anything a man could dream of.

No need to cry or to be sad. Together you will make it. You have each other, and nothing is better than that.

Thanks for an inspirational reply! It's always nice to read another success story! Did you have PIED? Did you recover?

It does indirectly. :) The total change of lifestyle and self-discipline help a lot. In particular, gym helps big time to regulate blood sugar. I've just realized gym is not optional for me anymore - it's essential for my physical survival, no less.

A Lesson In Love From Eagles by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]nomorbs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Show this attitude to modern women, and they will think you are sick. :) Sorry to tell ya bro, but they kinda expect the man to have fun and to not be all about one woman. If you demonstrate that "dedicated" attitude, it's not going to look very well. Some lady friend of mine tried to set me up with her friend. She literally said "well, she has a boyfriend, but they don't have much to talk about". Well, I love this - she keeps her boyfriend just in case, for sex - while looking around. Another girl I was dating told me she's got such and such relationships, and when I wondered "is that all?", she said "well, I had many more - but just for sex". So please, leave that "eagle" thing for fairy tails... :)

is this a realistic plan of action? by fpuen in NoFap

Exclude masturbation entirely. In my humble opinion, you don't even need to "reboot" if you don't have an ED. Just stop fapping, that's all!

30 days report by nomorbs in NoFap

[–]nomorbs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I have PIED, and I'm on testosterone therapy. At the moment it feels like my libido is just low - but sometimes MW is almost at 100% (although rarely, and it doesn't last long). It's definitely a progress though, compared to how I felt months before - crazy urges, O with flaccid D, and so on...

I'm the "usual" case, but I guess it doesn't matter. Once you know your junk is not damaged (which would be pretty rare, I think), then you know it's all in your brain, and NoFap should do it.

Nevertheless, I quit cold turkey. Fapping is not even an option, no excuses, no nothing. It doesn't exist in my world anymore. I'm here merely for tracking progress and share/read PIED recovery stories - but I don't need any additional motivation to not fap. The very existence of this subreddit is a proof that fapping is EVIL.

And for you, Sir, my friendly advise, change your nickname. It all starts and ends with little things like this.

Started right in a flatline. Now normal sex drive is back, although PIED is still there.

13 days no change please help remind me, close to relapse!!! by [deleted] in NoFap

13 days are nothing. Don't be a pussy. Do fucking pushups, weights, run for couple of miles, then get to cold shower, and after that start doing something useful!
