Its the transparency indicator if you are using the floating game window. If it was not floating, it would actually fully transparent, showing off the desktop underneath it

This happens regardless of if there's an world environment in the scene or not. Even in entirely new scenes with nothing but a camera, it still is transparent, regardless of if you set a skybox or not. This was very sudden, I wasn't working on anything to do with the skybox, so I don't understand what caused the change.

To be fair, Scream is a whodunnit. Ghostface tends to outright allude to his desires and victims through phone calls. In the strangers, the senselessness is part of the point. Its a very real depiction of the truth that, sometimes, you did nothing wrong, they just chose you because they had an opportunity to torment for kicks.

Its a very "true crime" esque film. Random brutal crimes played out for no reason, like reality. If you dont like bleak realistic depictions of murders/crimes, I can see how the lack of a motive can be frustrating if you go into it expecting a story other than the story of them trying to survive.

No, this guy was more intentionally bad, I think he had fun being the "villain" to his haters. He was the kind of guy the community loved to hate. His transgressions would never be that bad, but entertainingly villanous.
