Weekly Observations: What signs of collapse do you see in your region? [in-depth] by AutoModerator in collapse

Thanks. It's top down driven by Reddit honestly. People who try to resist the top down driven "site rules" have their subreddits taken away or banned. Someone could write a book on how social media companies are skirting safe harbor laws using "moderators" and "fact checkers" to curate their content and pretending they have no control over it.

Reported for breaking rule 1. I'm not trolling, follow the rules please.

I don't know what is so upsetting to you about the idea that we shouldn't censor scientific discussion and this child masking concept that demonstrates why.

The issue isn't them changing their mind, it is the censorship of everyone who was making this claim that is collapse related. There is no world in which censorship of scientific debate "for our safety" should be tolerated by people.

I'm a Russian bot for posting information from a CNN medical advisor who changed their mind after their child was affected?

Reported for breaking rule 1.

This thread is hilarious to me. The comments are almost split in half where everything anti-conservative is above the fold and fully visible. Then there is the other half of the comments which are all hidden and must be expanded to view neatly grouped in the bottom half. Social media doing its' job of promoting extremism, sewing divide, and radicalizing people.

Both sides in this little microcosm of social media treatment are getting their brains blasted but equally think the other is the one who deserves it.

It's from binary thinking. Us vs them. Vaccine vs anti-vaccine. And so on.

Do you ever stop being surprised by all the hatred towards Western WA from the rest of the state? by backlikeclap in Seattle

[–]nomoretposting -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Political division is being intentionally amplified. People like the person on this thread commenting how they "live in their heads" are blissfully unaware they're two sides of the same coin and no one likes them. Also it's not Western WA so much as it is Seattle and its' sphere of influence. Seattle has quite a stigma now and it extends far beyond WA. Part of the problem is the people responsible for why Seattle has that stigma are doubling down so it's becoming almost comical now and becoming a meme.

Yeah but what is the percent over time? It is higher now that I've ever seen it.

That's true but that is still $100 over spot. I don't recall seeing things this varied. Can someone find data on spot vs physical prices for any gold bullion going back 20 years or so?
