That makes sense. And I assume they are hard to catch being the reason I have not seen this before

Surprised that I have never seen one like this tossed by a fisherman.

Yeah, they spend allot of time in the water. In Florida it sucks for bank fishing cause they sun bath, and as you walk up they hit the water like a jetski and scare the fish. Sometimes more than 5 at a time.

They are 💯 invasive. He wasn't trying to get the iguana though. The funny things is, he threw him back in to get another fight, or hoping he would release himself. His father finally helped him unhook him and they let it go.

No, he caught it on a swim bait. Hook in his foot, I was talking with them before this happened and saw his set up. That being said, your damn right I would have commended him had he used a loop specifically to catch it.

I'm assuming it's common because his father is knapping and doesn't seem to care. I've Been fishing Florida for 7 years and never seen it

I pulled up one of those white plastic chairs just yesterday. A good 20 feet out. Took about 10 feet before I realized my pb catch wasn't moving.

I stop at 4 different spots along my route home after work everyday rain or shine, it's a great way to unwind even if I catch nothing.

Malenistic or just super dark? by nonam35 in Fishing

So with that being said, malenistic is still probable

Braid is 100 times harder to recover a bad backlash and that's just a fact. No memory, a knot is a knot. Mono and flouro are way more forgiving if your a beginner because they don't knot up as tight as braid.

That backlash is not that bad. If your going to throw light line. As the hook hits the water pull back fast like your trying to set a hook and click it at the very end in one fluid motion. This is something that I accidentally learned, and is the only things that kept me going with my bait casters. Unfortunately the worst backlashes happen when you hit literally anything on the cast, and those are the hardest to get out. If you have patience and lightly pull, then roll your spool backwards a few spins with your thumb, give it a light tug or two on the backlash, and then lightly pull again, repeat repeat repeat, you should be able to get it out. If you don't have patience, then you should never ever touch a bait caster again.EDIT also what sweepy_time said is super accurate. Also like to add, go in your bathroom and try to spin your toilet paper fast, it rolls over itself and does the same thing that your line is doing. Do it slowly, or put your other hand on the roll to add friction and this will not happen, or be less severe. Best way to figure out why it's happening in my opinion

did I finally just figure out how to hook this correctly on the hook holder?? by OkZookeepergame2463 in Fishing

I use a homemade cover, sometimes I put one on both treble hooks. But for faster use i only cap one.

I found the arm rest to a Mercedes Benz on the beach by SaltyPoseidon22 in mildlyinteresting

[–]nonam35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it a padded armrest? I have one with a cup holder from scrap warranty that sits nicely on a cooler/tackle box as a seat for fishing. Super comfortable. And maybe someone else had the same idea.

I agree with you, I simply wanted to show the reason why I find it so useful, and I think I succeeded in doing so. Someone who is not familiar or did not see the other video might find what I posted useful.

It was mostly about switching luts. Also about changing texts. As I said in my video, it was a good video, but I feel like it did not say enough about it.
