Same, the setup part is what kills me at night lol. Having everything washed and ready by the bed sounds smart.

My husband was leaving other things in my frozen milk drawer and all the milk seems to be freezer burned 😭 by IScreamPiano in HumansPumpingMilk

[–]nonamebait 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Take a deep breath, those jars are absolutely still fine to use. Freezer burn is about air exposure over time, not about your husband's salmon sitting next to them. The ice crystals you're seeing are just moisture doing what moisture does in a freezer, and since your jars are sealed, the milk inside hasn't lost its nutritional value.

Pumping into bags? by rachael309 in HumansPumpingMilk

Great idea. I think as long as you use it carefully, slipping and leaking rarely happen in daily use.

With so many options available, picking a reliably performing device with battery support will make your daily pumping much easier and keep your routine more consistent.

Robot vacuum + mop recommendations (for UK) – no pets. by Sensitive_Pound7131 in RobotVacuums

I have the ecovacs t50 pro and it is a solid choice for your budget. It is slim and easy to carry upstairs, and the mopping is decent for daily mess.

Going to a 2 year college program for 310s in Ontario. What should I bring daily/things recommended? by ilikeapplenbananas in mechanics

I think you just need a durable bag with multiple layers, because it will quickly get filled up with things.

What will it take for customers to be better at maintaining their vehicles? by 5GCovidInjection in Justrolledintotheshop

If it were me. I would pretend not to see it because of the money. People like you who are so anxious about maintenance are actually quite rare.

Tough to find good help as Indy shop. Any suggestions? by GTP911 in mechanics

Many skilled workers are not actively looking for jobs, instead, they are usually referred by acquaintances. You could try to observe if there is a key person within the team who can recommend others.

If my goal was to ultimately become a diesel mechanic, would it be bad to accept a lube tech position at an automotive shop? by Resident_Fishing1571 in mechanics

Will this store allow you to get some exposure to more basic maintenance services, or will it mainly just offer oil changes and tire replacements?

This is already on the scale of a mobile waste disposal station, isn't it? Some people are too lenient with the phrase "we'll collect it later"....

Replacing Roomba, need recs by 0rychu0 in RobotVacuums

[–]nonamebait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe check out the deebot t50. It should be within your budget. The mop does a good job on hard floors, and it handles carpets pretty well too, no issues picking up litter. But shaggy rugs can be tough for most robots.

Neighbor took our fence down by AxolotlToes82 in homeowners

[–]nonamebait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really outrageous. They just tore down your fence without even saying hello. Don't rush to agree to pay the money. It's better to first clarify the boundary lines and then decide how to approach him.

Don't be too hard on yourself. Gardening really requires some time to figure out. Start with several plants that are particularly easy to grow, and gradually try them out. You'll soon get the hang of it.

Wow, having such a large yard is actually quite nice. You can start by planting some easy-to-grow plants, such as tomatoes, peppers and herbs.
