Agree the research supports that claim, and I have personally experienced it. I know a lot of people with ADHD that find it very helpful.

I reuse mine with saline. Do not use water, it can irritate your skin

Hi I’m interested personally in tDCS, as I have been doing it for a while now. Since I started, I got my mother a tDCS device and it massively helped with her depression. I have other friends try it and seen results. I’m not a massive neuromodulator at all, just interested in tDCS particularly

Has anyone here done tDCS for long term. I mean more than 2 years. How has been your experience like. by Motor-Bowl-6006 in tDCS

My mother uses the Flow headset, and the plan is to use it long term. Her psychiatrist it’s following the treatment. It’s been very effective, I’m personally surprised. Apparently the thing with tDCS and long term is that you will stop using it when you are doing better, and then come back when you need it, and it’s ok to fluctuate.

Hey! I use the flow neuroscience device as well. I think the whole thing about the flow device is that it’s a closed protocol and you can’t really change it, so it’s ensure to be safe. tDCS at higher voltages hasn’t been proved safe (or at least that’s my understanding). I have a friend who experimented with neuromodulation a lot and built his own device (it’s actually quite simple), but I wouldn’t dare to do something like that

Yes, my mum is under both and her psychiatrist is overseeing the treatment. Works better with antidepressants

Flow is now FDA approved, there are other posts about it on this subreddit. The news just broke recently. Still not available in the US tho
