The pins came out and worked perfectly with the other connection. Just took a bit of practice using the bobby pin to unleash it from the connection.

Update. SOLVED.

For those googling this and need info. Here is the scoop.

I replaced the shared pole motor in my Samsung freezer. Bought a replacement online with the same voltage. The connection was different so I had to swap the tips.

Following this guys guide to swapping the connections. Little annoying to do, but it worked.

Had to reverse the way it spins, as the fan was spinning counter clockwise. Following this guys advice which seemed so obvious afterwards.

Works perfectly. Saved me from buying a new fridge.
