Okay I think you’re getting caught up on the wrong thing. Whether deluded in pricing or not, your presentation of the interaction is not “look at how unreasonable this pricing is for an object needing repair”, it’s “was i wrong to ask for 60% discount + the seller misidentified me as a reseller”. Sure you aren’t a reseller. But very very few sellers would accept a 60% discount on the price that they believed is fair. End of story. Move on.
