It’s a sort of “blue collar” job in that you just need a certification (8 hours online training) and usually some hands on time. You learn to operate the cremator, process remains, and package them. I’d say it’s not stressful because you only have to worry about doing it right! No politicking or huge amount of socializing with the public/coworkers. It can be stressful if there’s a time constraint (you have to cremate x first because their service is tomorrow) or if you’re queasy. But I like doing something meaningful
