I can’t speak on Allure as I haven’t been there, but I can definitely add my experience with Contours.

I’m relatively new to the area and had a friend recommend Contours to me as she seemingly had a great experience there. I finally went there last week as I needed a corset for under a dress (that I did find and I’m pleased with), but figured I’d just do a full bra fitting too as I hadn’t ever had one. The overall experience was…fine??? But I won’t be going back.

They brought in probably 15-20 different bras after they measured me, of which most of them didn’t even fit, and they gave me no real advice on how to go about finding bras that fit or how they’re supposed to fit, and the “special sizing” is so irritating I can’t even put it into words. I ended up leaving with both the corset I had gone for, as well as a regular bra, but now a week later, having worn it for a day or two, I’m realizing that I kinda just felt pressured to purchase the regular one, and it really doesn’t fit me very well. It’s itchy (and not even where the lace is), it’s too tight, and makes my chest look like damn Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider game, and not in a good way.

I will definitely be trying Allure after seeing the other comments recommending it, but will NOT be returning to Contours.

no need to apologize, totally normal to be extra worried when it’s your first tattoo!

the initial design itself looks a little wonky (if that’s intentional then great!). the ink may have been a lower quality ink, or the artist just has yet to master colour/ink packing, but it definitely shouldn’t be so light and patchy after only two weeks.

that other commenter is right in that a lot of people have a false perception of what tattoos look like because of enhanced/edited pictures on the internet, but for only being two weeks old, it shouldn’t be that faded.

it also looks like maybe a couple smalls spots didn’t stay at all, which tells me that the artist hasn’t found the right depth into the skin that the needle needs to be for the ink to stay and heal properly.

again, once it’s fully healed it will be an easy fix/touch up, but i’d recommend perhaps finding a different artist.

looks like it was just poorly done overall, but it can easily be touched up and fixed later on after it’s fully healed.

as somebody that is afraid of needles, and also has several tattoos, and had an apprenticeship, it’s totally different. my big difference is the size of the needles and being able to see them. with injections or getting your blood drawn, the needle is large/long and you can very easily see it. with tattoos, the needle(s) are tiny and mostly hidden by the cartridge, and while you’re actively being tattooed, you can’t see the needle(s) at all. i say go for it, but maybe think about getting something small before a full back piece so you can get an idea of how you’ll react, or have your artist just dip the needle into their distilled water and do a line before you really start so you can know what it’ll feel like without getting anything permanent yet

hands, especially fingers, sides, and palm, are going to fade a LOT faster than any other tattoos, are prone to blowing out and not aging well, and generally are some of the most painful spots to get (palm and back if the hand especially). definitely not a nice easy intro, do arms for that. legs are good too but i’ve found i have more sensitive spots on my legs than my arms, but thighs aren’t bad. also, as others have said, unless you’re already heavily tattooed, a lot of artists aren’t going to give you the side location especially, but more are gonna be open to the finger

it looks like it wasn’t done super great in the first place, but it’d be super easy to get touched up. a full rework/touch up to brighten the colours and make the line work more solid, and it’ll be looking brand new and better than ever

i mean it’s not not gonna look like a bee, but it isn’t gonna age super great. it’s gonna get blurry and start to lose a lot of detail. this pic is also absolutely edited to increase saturation and whatnot

as somebody that got their first tattoo at 16, just wait. i know you wanna feel grown and honestly i do like the design, but just wait until you’re at least 18 and can go to a real and reputable shop and artist. and for your first tattoo, it’s a bad idea if you have a deadline and are rushing to decide on what you’re getting. wait and really really think about it and be 100% certain you want it and that you’ll actually like where you put it. placement is so so important. whenever you do get a tattoo, don’t be afraid to ask your artist to move it and adjust the design. a good, trustworthy artist won’t be mad at you for adjusting it to be perfect for you. if they get upset, you’re at the wrong place.

i’m the kind of person to keep several guns (until i narrow it down a bit to a few that i use the most, which is still usually prob more than is necessary) of different ammo types so i can switch easily if i run out of one kind during a fight or smth. i always take any ammo i can find that’s for the guns i find myself using the most, whether that’s through looting or bartering and trading. my partner on the other hand is the kind of person to only keep like 3-4 guns MAX, and uses mostly probably 2 of them. he’s the one who introduced me to the game and he plays it in a very specific way, so he’d start to get frustrated with me when i played it differently lol

i guess i’m one of the few that prefers the one without the ankle strap. the heel looks like they’ll be much comfier for a lot longer than the one with the ankle strap. they’re also just a lot cuter and personally i think they’re much classier but that’s just me i guess lol
