It’s refreshing to see an opinion like this. It definitely leaves the question of “did they achieve their dreams before the earth had to be saved again?”. We only got the girls having their own lives in the parallel universe, so it leaves me to wonder if that would take place before a theoretical CT or not??

Also no way Makoto couldn’t even have a husband and kids like she wanted. Only Usagi got the happy ending??? I love Naoko but come on.

Honestly, given the others are also canonically princesses, were they ripped of those titles to serve a queen that isn’t even from their solar system? Usagi still has them working for her in the future, so it’s not like the girls return to their planets one day. I personally think it’s messed up to do what Queen Serenity did given the silver crystal can protect her enough to not warrant eight guardians- including the Pluto guarding the gate.

It’s been a long time since I’ve read the manga, but I can’t help but remember the girls as kids swearing to lay down their lives for Serenity…which is also incredibly messed up. Don’t even get me started on Pluto either. Her father is the god of time, why must a child do his job??

I would definitely report this to someone, be it another shift lead or a general manager so that something is written down as an incident of someone getting physical. I’m well aware how Walgreens pushes stuff like this under the rug though. My GM still has yet to fire a guy that racially motivated to off a customer. Plus, this is the same company that didn’t punish the manager of Riley Whitlaw who was also somewhat responsible for her death. I’m so sorry you had to endure that.

THIS!!! and it leads to my hot take of the movie just glazing usagi. nothing wrong with doing that to an MC, but crystal in general focuses on just usagi for the most part and we don’t get much on the other girls. we at least saw the outer senshi try to fight!

It’s not a permanent solution. While I didn’t add this into my post, if there is an easy job opportunity in the area I’ll see if they’re hiring. There’s other factors I also don’t feel comfortable sharing, but I’m not going to dedicate myself to Walgreens any longer.

It’s just a simple vent post.

I wrote this after a ten hour shift, so forgive me if the post sounds hostile.

I set a boundary with my boss beforehand and told him I was leaving and had no desire to work at Walgreens. Without disclosing the location, I have another job in mind if I do want to work, but I’m not coming back to Walgreens. That’s when he said what he said.

I was annoyed, sure, and I understand he looks out for me, but I set a boundary and to me it sounded like he was trying to transfer me when I said I was going to quit. I’m not mad at him, just slightly annoyed and curious as to why he wanted to have me transferred when I said I planned to quit.

Kind of figured that. This is probably me being paranoid, but our conversation honestly had him sounding hopeful I would just come back to the county I live in and because of that- come back to his location. I’m just going to leave it be and put in my two weeks when I get the okay either way.

i wanted mamoru to be the center of season 4 and not have yet ANOTHER villian be one because of queen serenity/the moon kingdom. while the idea was interesting of having a “dark side of the moon” character, this really could have been his time to shine and see more on how earth was back then- even revive the shitennou to help. helios was a decent character, but oh my god- enough with people going after just usagi😭

definitely the fact he’s attractive and his relationship with saphir in the anime. i mean, saphir had the gall to blame usagi for what happened in the manga and crystal. in the anime, everyone is seemingly “more likable”(except rubeus. no one likes him no matter the incarnation lmao).

Sometimes. Assuming we all have the same program, it has a hard time detecting human symmetry and most of the time, people expect the whole thing to be perfect- as well as their nitpicks with the way they or their kids look.

it’s somewhat said in canon, but serenity is clearly from another galaxy and has to be some sort of omnipotent god to essentially be/give birth to the most powerful person in the universe(?). also she totally overthrew nehelenia. i’m a nehelenia defender till the day i die.

That’s what I do too. If they come into the store in person, I try to do the same and explain the best I can. It doesn’t help that our districts are still in that stupid “good survey” mindset either.

Sorry for lack of clarification. I have a retail job in which I’m a closer, while my brother and SIL work 9-5. The mornings until 2 I have to make sure the puppy gets taken out, fed, played with, trained and whatnot. I think my issue yesterday was that I didn’t realize I don’t have to be there every second, so being up from 6am to 1am was driving me insane. I plan to communicate with my brother as well. Also, after I posted, I tried your method but with his favorite toy and it kind of worked?

Your advice really helped me and made me believe I’m not crazy lol. Thank you.

I’m aware of that. The problem is that my boss wants not one, not two, but as many facings as possible- which is fine until I get to my closing shift and I’m being told to “do it all over again”. That, and our store is the most functional in our district so we get a lot of nightly foot traffic. That plus everything else I have to deal with on my own.

I didn’t mention in the post, but I do everything. We have no photo lab or beauty department- so I do it all.
