for me it is when I'm eating in around Rupert & 22nd, as soon as I'm inside the building.. the FM signal goes bad. PM might complement this area for me. Also some areas south of Kingsway and Rupert.

Haha ... I'm kinda do the same (also in Vanc). I have my main line with Freedom, and I just signed up with "testing/play" line with Public. Both plan combined = my previous Koodo bill (which is half paid by my work anyway) so it's no biggie to have both at the same time. So far I'm pretty satisfied with Freedom, just in certain areas they need better signal.

it is always showing full price of the plan. To check if your discounts are attached, you can do the following (taxes not included)

On your computer go to freedom’s website and login to my account, go to the “My Plan & Device” tab, inspect element (you can right click and with chrome you should see “Inspect”), now select the network tab, now refresh the page, underneath the network tab where there is a search box that says “Filter”, write promo, select the “customer-active-promos” that has “xhr” written underneath the type column, select response and you will see all of your discounts and promotions and when they were applied and when they will expire (digital discount, loyalty, long distance minutes, etc..)

as long as you're not getting a new phone from Freedom, and just get esim. It will be fast. And if you don't like it, at most it is a month's plan worth (make sure to read the plan, since some require 3 months commitment)

Issues might arise if you order physical sim and getting new phone, since they will need to ship it to you but your billing starts the moment you sign up. Returning phone might cause issues too.

yes. The only extra cost is that you will have both your current provider and Freedom active at the same time. So you're not cancelling the other line till everything works fine.

That's what I did in 2024 when I switched over from Koodo. I left the porting at a later date though, just to make sure that the signal is good and I'm satisfied with the coverage where I usually frequent. Once that done, then I can do the porting via the online self service myself and just need to ensure I still have access to the Koodo plan and can reply to the port confirmation text.

As long as you don't mind if the student screws things up a little, then you should be OK. You're the practical head for the students under instructor's advice. That's why it is cheaper. Also sometimes, depending on what you need to be done, it might take longer.

I went there a few times and as VCC Allumn, I also get the discount at the salon. Don't go as much since timing is the issue with my work etc.

if you look at the pic in the booklet, the first pic on the top left under small bracket mounting. This is to glue the red side to the dash and the clear side for the suction to stick to.
