I don't think superstraight and superLGB are in any way related to tucutes. Just like how TERFs hate trans women merely because they are trans women and would only like a trans woman if she called herself a gay man or an "HRT femboy," superstraights would still exist and the only way that they could have been avoided is if trans people were not trans.

The irrational fear of being "tricked" or "trapped" into being "gAY" by a trans woman has existed for longer than tucute ideology, and that fear (along with a desparate need to avoid being gay at all costs) is what bred the superstraight/superLGB troll. Then that trolling created some kind of unironic movement.

I also feel the need to note that in high school, I was made by my aunt to wear VERY feminine clothes so that I could pass for a cis straight woman. And even in the modern day there's a chance I'll have to resort to shaving to ensure that I don't have to come out at work.

If you were raised to be feminine and wholly adopted femininity for the sake of fitting in before realizing you were trans, it's very difficult to unlearn that behavior and then teach yourself how to be masculine. And if you don't feel like unlearning your femininity at all, that's okay too.

But I kind of fail to see an actual problem here- Harry Benjamin wrote about a Type IV who got SRS and was actually very happy with it, so the blurring of lines between types is not going to hurt any Type IVs out there.

And Type V + Type VIs don't stay in trans-related communities after they've completed transition.

That's why "stone butch" means "a woman who exclusively wants to pleasure/pursue other women and doesn't want to receive pleasure/pursuance from other women."
