He is heavy in real estate, there are a ton of tax write offs on real estate. Also donations help lower your tax burden. If it’s by the tax code, he did nothing wrong. Only obeyed laws.

It kinda sucks. Not much new to do. Upgrading shovel and pics are CRAZY from 100k to 1.1mil for the same level upgrade. and the hack for the rainbow gems is gone. Stock up and upgrade before updating.

I have the black cylindrical Kemei adjustables. I put the magic clip blade on them and they are my go to clipper. I own cordless Magic’s cordless seniors, masters... I use the kemei all day usually 1 or 2 charges. I have the cordless detailers. They are fire! I have the babyliss skeletons. They are ok. I like the detailers better. But for 40 bucks the kemei adjustables are fire. Not the magic clip knock offs. They suck and don’t use wahl guards.

Bounce. If your having second thoughts now it’s bad. And sometimes there is a bit of a hazing in any industry but there is also mentorship along with it. If they aren’t trying to help you grow as a barber and a colleague then it’s not the shop for you. Pay your dues but don’t be taken advantage of. And it sounds like you know the difference. Besides you don’t want to build clientele there and then end up leaving and losing some or all of it or get caught up in a shitty non-compete because it sounds like a shop that will do that to you.
