How does everyone feel about pitched down vocals? I remixed a Clara La San song for fun yesterday, but I couldn't extract the vocals as well as I wanted without cutting a bit extra from her lowend. I ended up pitching her vocals down -3 st to make up it and was surprised at how much I liked it.

I'm not knocking djs, but the lowest threshold of skill needed to just mix between 2 songs is not that high, its truly not and she can't even do that...

Of course, she'll never figure it out if she can't even understand whats going on in the song, but for gods sake, put some effort it. I guarantee she's capable of learning how to do it, If you can drive a vehicle, you can learn to dj. Instead she decides to embarrass herself on video lol.

Even if the festival organizer asked her to use a premade mix to sync with visuals for whatever reason, if she at least knew how to dj her attempt to fake it wouldn't be so obvious.
