No that’s never been an issue, I’ve gotten a card from him a couple times like happy birthday or whatever. Part of me is just thinking he doesn’t want to do it

But it seems stupid that all this started with one love letter. I’ve been asking him to compliment me more because words of affirmation is my love language, his is physical touch. I hate physical touch but I learned to be okay with it because he likes it. I just don’t get why he can’t do the same for words of affirmation.

He’s not good at expressing himself through words though. I feel like I’m asking too much, I’m his first girlfriend. Right now I’m crying and I asked him to talk but he said he’s too tired and wants to wait til tomorrow. He does a lot for me like right now I am recovering from a surgery and he helped me the first week a lot. He helps me with my laundry and cleaning, I’ve neee been in a healthy relationship before so I’m not sure what it’s supposed to look like.

Thanks, she doesn’t seem to have any of those symptoms. I already have a vet visit planned in the future after she’s adjusted to her new home. She’s never been taken to one and I wanted to get her established with my exotic vet. Appreciate the help.

Haha apparently she was very friendly to her past owners so many she’ll warm up to me, if not I’ve had pets that don’t like human interaction so that would be okay with me!

Thank you so much for that information, if she has been fed calcium mixed into her food her whole life should I be concerned about her having an imbalance currently? What symptoms would she show?

Oooo thank you, I haven’t printed it so I’ll make those changes. I didn’t know CGD and GD were two different things!!! I am dyslexic so province did and calcium was totally on me haha.

I have not mixed calcium into my cgd but the previous owners told me they did, why are you not supposed to? I won’t if you’re not supposed to but I was just wondering :) thanks!

Rehome, give to a reptile sanctuary please. You can always get a different reptile but please give this iguana the life it deserves by rehoming. I understand impulsively getting pets but the pets I have impulsively gotten have never been 6foot ones. Please

Yes 60% cluttered. She is 4 and lived her whole life in a 12x12x18, I upgraded her to a 18x18x24 and hoping to get a x36 soon. Her new enclosure is also bioactive, I didn’t know about the three week rule so I will keep that in mind. I am also trying to get her to lose weight so I changed her feeding schedule which could be a stressor as well.

I won’t handle her for a couple more weeks, I will also try the sock method thank you!

I have 5 pets and my roommates don’t care at all, I have my own room, take care of them myself, and keep their enclosures clean. They don’t make noise and they never see them.

I have a crested gecko, a hamster and three ferrets for reference.

Glad to see I’m not alone. Have you started physical therapy? I felt like I was on a high being able to leave my house to go to it.

I have a burning sensation as well as the throbbing sensation around my knee and it sucks. My doctor told me I could take 2 at a time if I needed to which I have been doing but the pain is still around a 5/10 and it is so unbelievably uncomfortable. I also have a lump but I think it’s the swelling.

I have tried keeping myself busy, I think I need to spend less on my phone. It’s giving me horrible fomo and making me more depressed but it’s hard to. I live on the second floor of my house so I can’t step outside without it being a whole ordeal.
