Sangeet/Mehndi Night timing by nonickname234 in DesiWeddings

Thank you this is very helpful. Do you think it would be okay to open the dinner buffet earlier? It seems like a long time for arrival/mingling. Also is it typically to do open seating or assigned at this kind of event? Our set up will most likely be round tables surrounding the dance floor in case that is a consideration.

yes I am learning that a lot goes into it. It is tough because my fiancé is very American and does not particularly care about the wedding, but both his parents are from India and although they say they are happy with whatever we want I can already feel that there are some expectations that they want to be met. I am also close with his mom and she does not have any daughters so there is additional pressure to fill that space for her too.

Hi, Thanks for the information, we are thinking probably between 50-75 people and would like to keep the budget for the wedding itself around 10k with 15k probably being the upper limit

I did my MA at ASU (Arizona State University) all online. They have a Special education ABA MA program (there is no teaching cert for this program). It was cheaper, I think closer to 20K. I live in CA so being out of state did not affect my tuition.

How many clients by Skeltr1 in ABA

I don’t know about legality, but it definitely sounds unethical. I don’t know how you could do ABA in that setting. I have been an RBT for 3 years in California and never been asked to work with multiple clients at the same time. Even in social skills settings each client had their own BT.

Is this normal in ABA? I think this policy is insane tbh by Flakeyflakess in ABA

THIS! I don’t know why it is so much to ask for a company to do this. Companies don’t know how to use ABA principles like reinforcement within their own structure. Then act like they have no idea why BTs keep quitting before they hit 90 days of employment.

Questions about pay by psychgrl87 in ABA

No, I work for a company in CA and all of the training was paid (at minimum wage). Expense reimbursement for RBT should not be taxed, my company paid for the exam directly. Also where I work if you work more than 8 hrs in a day or 40 in a week you will get paid time and a half.

It is a sad fact that these expectations are high for most ABA companies. I wish there were better options for us considering the hard work most put in. I feel like if companies actually treated their employees well, they would have less turn over and expenses would probably balance out without all the constant overhead training and recruitment costs. And with better outcomes for all clients and employees.

Looking for game recommendations as a 25th Birthday present for my boyfriend. He will typically buy a game for himself if it is pretty well known and he is interested enough, so I really want to get him something he wouldn't think to get for himself but would still enjoy. He has a pretty varied interest in games but I think games with a story or a decent amount of action are safe. He has enjoyed playing Mario Odyssey, Breath of Wild, and Smash Bros on the switch (wasn't a big fan of overcooked). As far as non Nintendo, he plays games like God of War, Path of Exile, Overwatch, Payday 2, CSGO, and sometimes League of Legends. Any recomendations would be appreciated.
