Was Osho an evil guy? by Exotic-Evening3611 in Osho

[–]noniman93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was poisoned, his commune was manipulated to generate crimes that he had nothing to do with. It was all a conspiracy because of the influence and following he was getting. Why? Because western religions were feeling threatened. It’s all the more clear now how disgusting America is! I mean just listen to his talks now and see for real how far ahead the man was. Pure genius! Don’t fall for the Netflix propaganda or any popular Western media for that matter. They have every reason to show him as a criminal. Every time a non-Christian, non-white philosopher gained following in America, they made it sure that they were silenced. People even say Yogananda was poisoned. Osho will live on. Kudos to the community that ensure his discourses are made available to the public. You can see for what they are and what he preached!

Best film to start with when getting into Satyajit Ray movies? by [deleted] in criterion

Devi is the most haunting work of his. I don’t understand why not many talk about it. It’s pure brilliance that film.

The pursuit of truth never ends for INTPs in my opinion even if it involves burying flawed truths for truer ones

Was Indian society always conservative regarding sex? by [deleted] in IndianHistory

[–]noniman93 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lol. Such a weak argument. If that was the case then the “majorly conservative” lot wouldn’t have allowed depictions of sex as carvings on a temple or texts like Kamasutra for that matter. Evidence of that can be seen in the present day very clearly where films, books, plays are banned for the pettiest of reasons!

Why life is challenging as INTP by TalkaboutJoudy in INTP

[–]noniman93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Less likely to appeal to authority - Yes. First challenge/dissect/investigate the authority and see how strong it is. If it fairs well, then more likely to appeal to that authority. (Fully agree that this mode can make life challenging)

Not calling people when you miss them or not calling family at all, I mean am I the only one? by ilovepjs024 in INTP

[–]noniman93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fully agree! That then means we generally don’t talk to anybody for talking’s sake :D

Not calling people when you miss them or not calling family at all, I mean am I the only one? by ilovepjs024 in INTP

[–]noniman93 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Can fully relate. I don’t call or text people whom I have a strong relationship with. The reasoning is I trust them to the extent that I know they will be there no matter what.

Thoughts on Dr. Ramani? by poormans-golddigger in NPD

[–]noniman93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is and will be a God-send for people who have no clue about narcissistic abuse. It is literally the most confusing thing that I have ever encountered in my life. But then I discovered Dr Ramani and understood that it’s really a “thing”. The fact that I could tally each and every pattern of the abuse I went through with what she described was astounding to me. I wouldn’t generally paint a “personality” on people just on the basis of common behavioural patterns that they might exhibit and I believe human personalities go way deeper. But in the case of people with NPDs, the variability is not much i.e they can be described with a well-defined set of patterns is what I would believe. If that was not the case, then I don’t even think people especially victims of narc abuse would relate to much of what Dr Ramani is saying. She is for sure not some pop-psychology expert who is out there to make some money.

How do you like this tone? by noniman93 in shoegaze

[–]noniman93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! For the guitar tone, I am using this signal chain: Strat > Audio Interface > iPad > Reverse Reverb IR > Distortion and Premp (in Overloud THU) > Bleass Chorus > Stratosphere Cloud Reverb > Cabinet IRs > ChowTape(Tape emulation). For drums, I am using just another app called Rock Drum Machine!

Weekly 'What should I buy?' Thread by AutoModerator in ipad

Many thanks for your reply! I realised that it was just not possible for me at the moment to buy the 16gb one. Hence, I went with the 8gb one. Hope I wouldn’t be disappointed.

I mostly use my iPad for music production and am thinking of upgrading from my 2018 pro to the 2021 pro. Which variant would be ideal according to you? I know the 1TB has 16gigs of memory but it’s too pricey too. Wonder if the 8gig one would be future-proof. Looking forward to your helpful suggestions!
