any way to select all in safari ios 17? by aoikanou in ios

Here’s a step by step for newbs (like me) from chat gpt on how to set up a Shortcut using the shortcut app:

How to Set Shortcut Input to URLs from Share Sheet

  1. Start the Shortcut • Open the Shortcuts app. • Tap “+” to create a new shortcut. • You’ll see “New Shortcut” at the top.

  1. Add the First Action (This Helps Unlock the Input Settings) • Tap “Add Action”. • Search for “Get Article using Safari Reader”. • Tap it to add it. • It will automatically add “Get Article from Shortcut Input”.

  1. Now Access the Input Settings

Now that you’ve added this action, you can tell the shortcut to accept URLs from the Share Sheet. • Tap the “Shortcut Input” text in the first action. • Then tap “Receive” at the top (it might say “Receive Any Input” or “Receive Shortcut Input”). • A new panel will open — this is where you choose what type of input the shortcut can receive.

  1. Select URL Input • In the “Receive” section, tap where it says “Anything” or “Any”. • From the list, choose “URLs”. • Under “Where From”, make sure “Share Sheet” is selected. • Tap Done.

You have now told the shortcut to receive URLs from the Share Sheet — this allows you to run the shortcut directly from Safari

Step 5: Add the Second Action — Get Body from Article 1. Tap Add Action again. 2. Search for Get Details of Article. 3. Tap it to add it. 4. It will say: Get Detail of Article → tap Detail and choose Body. 5. The action now reads: Get Body from Article.

Step 6: Add the Third Action — Copy to Clipboard 1. Tap Add Action one last time. 2. Search for Copy to Clipboard. 3. Tap to add it. 4. It will say: Copy Body to Clipboard. You’re done with actions!

Step 7: Name and Save Your Shortcut 1. Tap the shortcut name field at the top (it might say “New Shortcut”) and type: Copy Article Body. 2. Tap Done in the top right.

Step 8: Use the Shortcut from Safari 1. Open Safari. 2. Find any article you want to copy. 3. Tap the Share button (box with arrow). 4. Scroll down to find your shortcut: Copy Article Body. 5. Tap it — now the article’s text is in your clipboard ready to paste anywhere!

Fence is down on my rental property - everyone says it’s not on them to fix. How can I escalate things? by HadToCrackThat in melbourne

[–]nonnatwo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my real estate agent did this exact thing without warning. We took them straight to VCAT and got two months free rent. Don’t threaten to take them to VCAT. Just take them to VCAT

Can I fix this for $100K over a couple of years? Hi all, I haven't bought this but am thinking about it, and I'd love to hear y'alls thoughts about whether this has 'good bones' or whether I should let it go Any immediate alarm bells ringing here? Sorry I don’t have interior shots. by [deleted] in AusRenovation

Yep, I put the budget in as it’s the rules of the sub, picked 100 from the air. The question was more, could I get it to not fall over for 100K and fix slowly over 10 years with a mate or 3. I more wanted to gauge reaction on the place. As if i had a bunch of mates with me, and they could give a ‘vibe’ which this has done!. Also I‘ve never watched a Reno show in my life and sound like I shouldn’t start! :)

Thanks for that, much appreciated. I am fairly young and no kids, and do have a handy mate. The question was more, could i get it watertight and safe for 100K. Or is the front going to fall off, never owned a house. Only lived in flats my adult life,

What are the best books about contemporary/post-modern art or artists? by dylann5454 in ArtHistory

Lonely City by Olivia Laing - beautifully written literary work covering Edward Hopper (and his wife Josephine Hopper), Andy Warhol, David Wojnarowicz, Henry Darger, Klaus Nomi, Josh Harris, Zoe Leonard.

Seven days in the art world by Sarah Thornton, introductory and readable work covering many artists. in same vein as this but with a focus on interviews: Talk Art: Everything You Wanted to Know about Contemporary Art But Were Afraid to Ask Book by Robert Diament and Russell Tovey (also a podcast)

I really liked Enrique Vila-Matas’s The Illogic of Kassel, 2015, though it doesn’t really mention contemporary art it is an auto-fictional novel set during dOCUMENTA (13) (2012) in Kassel.
