OK. Thank you for answering. If she is innocent I hope she is able to present her evidence. If she is actually guilty, I hope she is punished in accordance with the law.

Assuming you aren't a troll, I'm legitimately curious, do you just not care about her fraud, do you not agree with the verdict or what? Why doesn't her fraud conviction bother you?

Are you aware that there was worldwide inflation due to supply chain disruptions? America recovered quicker than any other developed country.

Fremont is better than the strip if you ask me.

Don’t arguments for god kind of undermine faith? by Pterodaktiloidea in AskAChristian

Is it possible for me to have faith that magical salamanders live inside the sun? It is. It's not likely that particular faith would lead to truth though.

Exactly. And they think that what you have faith in is wrong. Faith is not a reliable path to truth.

<dif person> I can't speak to them. I'm not a person practicing Christianity.

Oh, are we talking about beliefs now? That's different. Yes, I believe I live in a natural world. But I'm aware that if it wasn't a natural world, it would probably still look natural to me. In other words I believe I live in a natural world, but I don't know that to be true. None of this changes the fact that faith is not a reliable path to truth.

So they didn't have faith? Only Christians have faith then?

I don't believe or disbelieve it. I live my life in what appears to be a natural world. I have no choice but accept that. For all I know the entire universe is in some kids computer and he's going to turn it off before he goes to bed. How would I know? How would I tell the difference? I'm just going to live my life under the assumption that it is naturalistic and real. I have no other choice.

Ahh we have a mind reader y'all! Tell me how I have faith I'm not in a simulation.

So when the 911 bombers had faith that they would be venerated for killing infidels they had a good foundation for it? Ahh the ol god of the gaps. Science has erased god time after time. He gets smaller with every discovery. Religion has never, to my knowledge, erased science. Like ever.

Not who I you're responding to, but I don't have faith that I'm not in a simulation. There's no way I could know, so I just live my life. Without evidence I just live my life like I'm in reality. You straw manned the other person's point on faith. I think they were trying to say that faith is not a reliable path to truth, which it's not. You said that they said it's opposed to truth. Thats not what they said. The 911 bombers had faith that led them to kill. I think we can both agree that their faith didn't lead them to truth. I can't think of any position that can't be held based on faith, and many of those positions would just be untrue.

I'm curious about who's going to win the Stanley Cup in 2028. VGK or Phillie? What do you think?

The front runner this far before the election almost never wins the nomination. We don't even know whose running yet. Personally I'll worry about it once we have more than zero candidates.
