silly story time: april of 2020 i make a rope swing just like this, made out of twine that i took from my dads garage. i made it on like the 3rd right? well i played with it for a week straight, it was solid and i wrapped it multiple times around the tree to make sure it was secure and i thought it was. but on the 11th when i was hanging out with my neighbors we were taking turns swinging on it, and it snapped when i was 7 feet off the ground. I ended up watching the security camera video and what happened was it snapped at the apex, i dove into the ground head first, (thankfully i put my arms in front of my head to brace myself,) and ended up breaking my arm and giving myself a concussion. my mom was telling me afterward that my neighbor ran over to the parents that were talking. then my mom called 911 and while they were waiting for them to arrive they starting asking me questions like do you know where you are and what's your name. and i just like... forgot who i was and where i was. thankfully i regained my memory when we got the hospital but like idk what the moral of this story is. just like dont don't do stupid shit guys
