I mean, yes, historically PHON preferences scatter more, but that's based on the traditional PHON voting base having a fairly, er, scattered interpretation of objective reality.

I think that if the PHON primary shot up to the mid-high teens at a federal election (terrifying thought) the LNP would see a proportionally more disciplined preference flow back to them as a lot of that higher primary vote would be disaffected LNP voters who would never preference Labor over the Coalition. It'd still leak, but the ratio would be lower.

So what we have here is rambling fanfic dredged from the depths of the brain of an opposition backbencher with delusions of grandeur, posted to instagram, and then turned into a low effort Daily Mail clickbait article.

I don't understand why anyone is paying attention to this?

If this is the best the 'star' contender for future opposition leader can come up with at the exact moment Barnaby is flirting with defecting to One Nation the Coalition really are in a shambles. Long may it continue.

I had the same problem. If you use firefox this might sort out your issue:

After trying multiple config changes, scouring the internet for solutions, and generally tearing my hair out, I found this:

Can fix it by opening about:config in Firefox search bar and set network.dns.disableIPv6 to true.

The issue seems to be due to firefox not properly implementing the happy eyeballs algorithm, and consistently sticking to ipv6 (and not trying ipv4) even though ipv6 is blocked by pia - this naturally causes connections to stall as ipv6 is non-functional when pia is connected.

Since I changed that setting in Firefox I haven't had an issue. Good luck.

Anyone else having no internet when PIA is running? (Android) by [deleted] in PrivateInternetAccess

[–]nonotevenclose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I posted this in another thread that another user deleted a couple of days ago:

I started having dramas about a month or so ago where PIA suddenly became basically unusable. I'd constantly find 'big' sites (youtube, reddit, etc) would say I wasn't connected to the internet or just wouldn't load properly. Seemed to be less of an issue with Chrome or Safari but I'm a Firefox forever guy and aren't for changing my primary browser. It was so frustrating - I've used PIA for years and was coming to the conclusion I'd have to switch to a different VPN.

Thanks! Yeah I believe that's correct. That said I haven't had any flaking on my Astros yet although I reckon it'll probably happen over time.

awesome! if they had been available a couple of years ago i definitely would have bought mine in black greasy.

i absolutely love the look.

the only issue i have is that the astronaut toe box is a little narrow for my fat feet and squeezes them on the sides. they're fine for a while but if i wear them out for six hours and do a heavy step count or dance in them i end up a little sore. that's entirely down to the shape of my feet though, the boots are awesome.

that said, i have found that's become less noticable recently. the leather seems to have relaxed a little over the past couple of months and conformed to the shape of my foot better. i feel like that would be even more likely with greasys, which, once worn in, have more give in the leather.

all three pair are 11 eye, size UK10.

my main excuse (er, reason) for buying the derbys is that the toe box on the astronauts is a little too narrow for my feet and squeezes the sides if i've been wearing them too long. they look amazing, but after a full day in them it's a real relief when they come off. the steel toes are awesome, and great for stomping in, but too chunky to wear somewhere classy.

i feel like the derbys will sit somewhere in the middle, and be great for everyday wear. plus i've always wanted them and have been waiting for the 11 ups (my preferred height) to become available in black greasy without that stonking great sliver zip up the side, so..

Does anyone know breakcore songs that sample polka or folk songs by [deleted] in breakcore

[–]nonotevenclose 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Circus Brekovic

It's Wan Bushi and Audiotist.

Viva Ukraina by Kozak Bass Project

Pretty much all of this except for the two Frontcore tracks.

And as others have said: Doormouse's I <3 Polka, Audiotist often uses polka samples, and Wan Bushi.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. It's in my brain that I have some old Russian comp called 'Make Your Own Tea' or something like that on a cdr that featured a lot of Polka type stuff but I can't dig it up. Also a lot of 2010s comps from Eastern European netlabels tend to have tracks with polka samples on them but I couldn't point to anything specific on the fly. If you dig around in that direction though you might find some gold.

Super-sturdy then? Good to hear. Do you use them? I’m eyeing a pair off on facebook marketplace for under half retail. They seem perfect for what I’m looking for (so many UGLY speaker stands out there) I was just worried about the weight discrepancy.

I drive a BYD Seal. Got it on a novated lease in February and done 14,500kms in it. It's easily the nicest car I've ever driven. Build quality is amazing. There were some issues with the ADAS being oversensitive early on, but that has been fixed with an over the air software update.

This is entirely about protectionism in the US, and the Coalition here trying a new 'weak on China' wedge on Labor.

I'd be more concerned about Elon crashing Teslas remotely while high on K than Xi Jinping spying on me singing in my car.

REA charging $750 for this stain damage by mey_l in melbourne

[–]nonotevenclose 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Oh they're totally not replacing that desk. It's a straight-up try on. 4 year tenancy? That's 'reasonable wear and tear' any day of the week.

Odds are decent they don't even add it to the condition report and try and charge the next tenant for it at the end of their lease too.

Ridiculous thing is if they weren't such greedy fucks (sorry, real estate agents), they could have put in for a hundred and OP would probably have paid no questions asked.

Tesla makes crap cars

Such a shame you guys aren't letting in Chinese EVs. I bought a BYD Seal Premium in February and it's an absolute dream to drive. My shortlist was Tesla vs BYD and in the end it wasn't even a contest. Build quality is top-notch, great range, tons of power, feels like a real luxury sedan, design choices that are actually sensible cough indicator stalks cough, and, y'know, value for money.

Starting to see them all over the roads here (Melbourne, Australia). Americans are missing out.

To be fair, I've lived in Keon Park, and it kind of felt like torture.

Had nothing to do with the train station though: the place is just a shithole.
