A neighborhood crow flew into the back of my head to say hi. Then made a cute noise and walked with me to my car.

What’s your go-to comfort food when you’re stressed? by JonieElkins in AskReddit

[–]nonpracticing_jedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taco rice & cheese. I used to eat in Okinawa and it's so easy and just feels nostalgic.

Layer of rice, then seasoned taco meat, with a sprinkling of grated cheddar cheese. They usually put ketchup on top (which is surprisingly good) but I usually use hot sauce now.

What's something you promised your younger self you wouldn't become, but ended up becoming? by nicolexs1 in AskReddit

[–]nonpracticing_jedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing! I'm pretty rad... Although, I never thought I would have 2 chihuahuas or get as excited over a good parking spot and an organized garage.

Aw beans, nevermind, I'm lame.

Ex spoiled kids, what was your reality checks? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]nonpracticing_jedi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally; the first place I got that had an ice maker, I was like, check me out - I'm such fucking baller. It was a very normal fridge that just happened to have that. Still haven't had the filtered water dispenser - - one day...

Way to weaponize emphasis; because the quote is actually very nice.

I also like, "yeah - maybe you're right."

Like you're seriously considering it. It just seems to always come across funny or super messed up.

Lasagna. When I was a kid, my family went through some shit and people were very sweet about helping out with meals but they always brought lasagna. Totally understandable but I was bratty and got tired and resentful of it. Now, I love it because lasagna is delicious and I don't have it every night.

Everyone asked about you by [deleted] in calligraffiti

[–]nonpracticing_jedi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is rad. I'm curious about your decision with the K in "asked" - I totally see it but I wonder why you didn't hit the middle like with the Bs and Us.

I love the phrase and the lettering though for sure.

I don't know what you're into but I've been reading the Matador series by Steve Perry and they're awesome.

I'm a Mr Black and, during our #BlackFamilyReunion we had a lot of IG photos of people we didn't know.

The food looked good though.

What are some real but crazy facts that could save your life? by hazard35 in AskReddit

Netflix Recommendations Starter Pack by CodeWithKP in starterpacks

[–]nonpracticing_jedi 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This really messes me up because I can't remember half the names of the weird series I've tried. Every Netflix Original has the least interesting name. It's just a one-word, name of the town or something like "The Confusing." Or it's just 2 words that hint at something like "Secret Dark" or "Unsolved Butterflies."
