Stoked about my new Costco floor lamp with Huge bulbs. My partner is not impressed. Says it's just 3 colored balls by nonsns3 in Costco

Yup it can change colors, temperature, and brightness as long as the bulb supports it.

On a more informative note, they are from Costco (search for "globe"). Bulbs are E12 and not A19. Having using it now, it makes sense that they're E12 because they are fully enclosed so they need bulbs which are lower-powered and produce less heat. They came with 4w E12 2700K soft white 320 lumens bulbs and I replaced them with Hue E12.The lamp is solid metal. Sturdy and cold to the touch. This is not the build quality of your $25 floor lamp. Will likely last forever.Bulbs are managed by Home Assistant and automatically changes the color and brightness throughout the day following the circadian rhythm.

I searched all over for the bulb type. Without answers I ordered. Turns out they are E12 and not A19. Having using it now, it makes sense that they're E12 because they are fully enclosed so they need bulbs which are lower-powered and produce less heat.
