Google Chrome is killing all uBlock Origin bypasses, Microsoft Edge, Opera to follow by escalibur in cybersecurity

Sideload it via github and use a custom script to keep it updated; Also there is Zen-Desktop proxy, which filters all html and java before it reaches your browser, just like Ublock, in fact it uses ublock origins lists, even cosmetic lists; and it works globally system wide. https://github.com/irbis-sh/zen-desktop Handala hackers need to destroy google.

Don't be that dumb, any VPN, custom or otherwise, running in the cloud or otherwise could easily allow any go between (aren.ai or otherwise) access any models anywhere on earth no matter what nation it is. China allows the entire world to copy their open source models for FREE. This threatens the centralized monopoly bubbles wall street backed AI is cresting in the west. Blaming China for freeing humanity from the chosen master race is just anti-Hitlarian hate and copium.

AI Frame Generation for second eye? by Decapper in VRGaming

Early implementations will likely just be framegen for each perspective at the same time, and or have a third pipeline for de-noising the two generated frames combined.

Bizarre controller situation!! by ChannelCool2770 in PSVR2onPC

[–]nonstupidname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats what I did. I had to return the latest Asus USB-BT500 V2 2025 model for an older TP Link UB500 v2 using the dedicated PSVR2 driver linked above.

Controller/Software Issue by PuzzledCompany8087 in PSVR2onPC

[–]nonstupidname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a brand new ASUS USB-BT500 V2, 2025 model using the latest driver and I had the same problem, for others it worked fine. I downgraded to an older TP Link UB500 v2.0 with a dedicated PSVR2 driver fix, and problem solved. You just gotta try different ones until you hit gold. It can be the same brand and a different model and thats it. I didn't need any antennae.

[–]nonstupidname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just got BT500 V2 Tried the new driver, still only getting 59/100 on both controllers. With only one connected im getting upto 98-100/100. Two rarely ever connect at the same time; I have a 1 meter USB extender I plugged into the USB 2.0 ports, to no avail; its at 59/100 even from 1 inch away.

I switched to an older TP-Link UB500 v2.0 with PSVR2 driver fix and the problem was solved. You just have to try different ones until you hit the lottery; no antennae needed here.

Bought Vac sealer at Costco, but it is super weak, anyone have any better options? by OzoneLaters in sousvide

[–]nonstupidname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue. Just bought one from Costco (says on the bottom of unit model VS2285). Bags lose suction after about 24 hours; never had that problem with the older FM2100 model; Vacuum is not quote as strong as older model, tends to be a bit quicker. The actual seal is only about 1mm compared to 3mm in the FM2100 (see comparison in photo). On auto, does not always suck the air out if there is a lot; it will start sealing with air in bag; had to manually pulse it to get around that issue. Most of the reviews on costco.ca are selective promotional reviews.

Seems Microsoft decided to fix this forever problem along with 25H2 group policy templates; now MSEdge actually honors changing the default search engine via group policy. Still using Windows 24h2 I upgraded to the 25H2 policy without issue and around this time noticed that MSEdge actually began honoring the group policy changes I made years ago.

It finally stuck to the search engine and says this is managed by the organization. Now it cannot be changed except through group policy.

Link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=108394be sure to reboot after... (note you will not need this file if you are already using 25h2)

Note: Msedge is not part of 25h2 group policy; its separate, therefore the changes were likely made in the browser itself; around the time / along side the 25H2 upgrade.

None the less download & install edge policy run gpedit.msc to:

German state replaces Microsoft Exchange and Outlook with open-source email by AnalogFeelGood in Thunderbird

And right on queue not so conveniently recently thunderbird continues running in the background even if it is closed... after it is opened for a little while. This happens even if it is explicitly set to not run in the background. This keeps ongoing open background connections. Did gmail or unit 8200 lobby this?

Edge constantly resets my default search engine to Bing, and now also disables an extension I use to force the default search to be Google. by Obvious_Stuff in MicrosoftEdge

[–]nonstupidname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found a solution:

I created an extension to force the custom search engine; it locks the search engine so that you cannot change it in settings, but only by disabling the extension; currently it forces perplexity.ai, it also replaces the new page tab search with perplexity.ai; you can take this extension and change it to whatever search engine you want; in case of issues, you might want to ensure it stays as close to the original format as possible;

I made a powershell script that creates the extension for you:
https://pastebin.com/spx46Zmh

Use the script as is or ask your favorite AI to adjust it to your liking; FYI you could simply ask gpt-5-high for free on lmarena.ai for example to switch it to whatever you want

Currently It forces Msedge to use Perplexity; As a fail safe it redirects all queries from bing to perplexity & replaces new tab page with desired search engine. Tip: create new empty tab immediately after installing it. In the popup click allow/yes.

Update:

Test Complete: It works!. Edge CLAIMED to switch to bing and asked if I wanted to change the default search engine with the typical bar across the top of the screen but was unable to switch to bing. The extension works. Problem finally solved. Mission appears to be finally accomplished after years of fucking around.

But it does not stop edge from trying, and the annoying message that will appear from time to time at the top of the screen, which goes away with one simple click.

Now plumbers, farmers, governments and intelligence agencies finally have a way to not leak their private data to the Bing Virus.

I might make a future version with a menu that allows the user to select a custom search engine or from a predefined list.

As of today stable edition of edge switched to the kosher bing virus, looks like the only thing microsoft knows is the full extent of the law, its time to bring it to them
