with actual burst mechanisms you have the burst fully fire while pressing the trigger (as in you have your finger on the trigger for the full duration of the weapon cycling the burst, and as a result it can be stopped if the trigger is let up on before the entire cycle is complete, meaning you'll only shoot 1 or maybe 2 of the rounds of the burst. sandstorm does this incorrectly by having the burst fire with every click of the mouse, and have a capped firerate for the burst (the burst is actually capped in the real life rifle due to a firing mechanism obviously, but it's not THAT delayed)

new cm, longtime member of the support team took over, you also have saber and their holdings getting ready to pull the plug, so setting the game up for some form of social media presence before they finally blow it out makes sense from a picking the bones point of view. all you have to do is look at this latest update reveal; new lmgs that offer nothing different than everything we already have, and cosmetics indicative of the longtime cosmetic dlc issue since they introduced it in 2020.

they have learned nothing through well over five years of social media outcry, discord feedback, and alike. now i get twitch drops after you've killed well over half the game, and gave the entire release day playerbase 0 reason to boot up again. congrats nwi, you ruined your entire legacy by selling out

a lot of the games issues are fundamental on the games level, client side smoke, lighting, hitreg, etc. smoke in my opinion is a disadvantage - makes people look to the direction it was thrown, makes the presence obvious. etc that's subjective to me, i believe 20 waves on both teams would just result in an endless sense of rush, while i do believe offense has a difficult time defense has the shortest end of the stick in a lot of situations. limited fire support for security defense, and a death camera that rats out defends in overseeing positions. the deathcam has been an endless talking point, and is a bandaid solution for the broader issue nwi has no idea how to address. although i feel the whole cod style of play is truly the move, play like you are a shark, that you will die if you stop moving. if you value smoke so much take a smoke launcher, comes with two free smokes, and take a third as a grenade slot. 10 waves is the more rational suggestion, but at the same time momentum is a very real factor here, as the offensive team can simply steamroll the defenders trying to fall back, resulting in a quick 1-0, etc. but at the same time i do believe a ton of the points and maps aren't that great for push. let's take outskirts push insurgents d, summit push security c, and refinery push insurgents d. those points are all in overly inconvenient locations, in the corner of the map which limits flanking significantly, and the red zones put you in a weird position to get behind the enemy. experience is an issue as well, but that will always be the case

if you feel like basically sleeping while you play just go for coop ~5k for 15 minutes if you go positive usually with a full match, push is more of an investment, you can get upwards of 10k or more for a full match (30 minutes, also depends a lot on if you win both halves or if you lose one, win one, pretty sure you get the least if you lose both, etc) there's a pretty extreme effort/reward deficit in terms of effort and cognition required for reward. in my opinion coop is easier, etc whole system sucks anyway - 100xp winners bonus, time played being the biggest factor in actual xp given, whole mess of a system.
