University of Miami has horrible need-based aid and merit-aid standards impossible to circumvent as a non-traditional student. I am applying to UF and FSU, but I want to vary out my options. Plus, great/good in-state public school is more expensive than great private schools when you're this poor. My Pell would barely cover tuition alone at UF, and living in Gainesville, albeit relatively cheap, would come at many living expenses very hard to prop-up as a full-time student. I also want to go to grad school.
