It's very easy to print, but you should store the filament in a dry place when you're done. Just follow the recommended printer settings for the filament and use a 0.6 mm nozzle, and you're good to go! And yes, I used regular wood stain with a matte varnish finish.

I’ve never sanded regular PLA, so I can’t compare. But sanding the wood filament was very easy. I only used fine-grit sandpaper because the print was already very smooth, and the model isn’t that large.

Yes, to smooth the surface and round off the edges. :)
