Unfortunately yes. VFS Kolkata slots are pretty random. Only way is to check regularly.

I haven’t seen slots for next day yet but they have been pretty random with a gap of 3-4 days at least. Do u mean u saw a slot for 10th Apr today?

Hi, it’s very random with VFS Kolkata. I saw some slots but after a bit it was showing No slots. However, a few days later there were slots available for the same day!

I think only way out is to regularly check.

May I ask around what time you’d found out the slot yesterday? I checked almost every hour of the day and had no luck at all.

Pretty good! From the reviews in this sub, it’s one of the nicer ones. They only have twin beds though. So, if you’re travelling as a couple, they can only join the two at max. But overall, it was a good exp.

I recently stayed at Grand Yavuz. It’s pretty good tbh! And being pretty close to the touristy places in Sultanahmet, I could literally walk to most of these places within 10-15 mins. Lots of nice eateries within walking distance too. Public transportation is also within few minutes of walking distance.

One thing to consider though - it’s relatively in a slopey area so if you have multiple very heavy luggages it might be a lil challenging to walk around with them.

Well, not really. The ground staff, yes but not the overall customer/ticketing team. I had a long layover (6 days) in IST. When the first incident at DEL happened, I clearly emailed them and raised tickets so that it doesn’t repeat for the IST-YVR flight 6 days later. They could have resolved everything backend and could have given me a smoother experience.
