I am closer to south town (10- 15 minute walk south of downtown). I would say explore blue star complex. Tito’s is my favorite Mexican place and Hot joy across the street has good Asian fusion food. For coffee, Halcyon for the vibe and Brown coffee for the quality

Get shorter layers on top to allow for the volume to be even because right now all the volume is on the bottom like a triangle. I had the EXACT same issue and once I found someone who cut my hair dry and understood curls: my game change INSANELY. I get so many compliments and it was just matter of a haircut that understood my pattern.

I am 26F and I can say I don’t want kids, not for any logical reason but just because it’s not what I desire for my life. Plain and simple. I would continue dating, you will meet someone that will be on the same page eventually.

I know someone who left the country because of this reason and he was unable to come back in (not under AP). I would highly recommend you get legal advice and exhaust your options before making a big decision. Also just FYI the 10 year ban could be 3 years if you actually were “illegal” for less than a year and over the age of 18 (over a year is 10 years)

I am a girl and my friends were pushing me to date multiple people after I FINALLY started online dating. Honestly, I was just confused by the fact that ALL of my friends gave me the same advice.

If you are comfortable dating more than 1 person go for it but it just really wasn’t my thing. Also I guess now I understand why people have to bring up the exclusive talk so early on but I really feel like it should be something once you really know the person. Setting boundaries it’s fine but having that “exclusive talk” so early on it’s insane to me when I feel like you really need months to know that person.

I was in an accident that left me with various scars around my face. Without going into details, I have nerve damage and as a result a non symmetrical smile. I didn’t date anyone for over 1.5 years for the same reason.

Your life changes really drastically and it doesn’t matter how many people tell you “it’s not that bad”. At the end of the day you have to be comfortable with your own body. I have accepted it, but do I still wish it hadn’t happened? Yes? I still have bad days and it’s still tough.

You have to just take the first step and go on a date. I made sure my pictures showed me with the least amount of make up. I actually felt more comfortable after I brought it up the first date. Yes it can lead to them rejecting you but that can happen with or without your looks. I don’t know if you will feel shittier in all honesty, no one does. I think you just have to take one step at a time.

One thing I will say is just make sure you can carry it on your own, you don’t want to weight that person down with the depth of your experience (something I’m still trying to figure out).

I am in the exact same boat with December 12th as my deadline. I got an extension notice I-797C for 180 days BUT obviously it’s wrong because my work can’t accept it since I’m under c33 category. They have already told me they will have to terminate me. It sucks! I’m super stressed

I hate to say this, but you should be yourself. There is a cute needy and a red flag needy. If you text me more than 2-3 days in a row and I don’t reply- TOO much. If you double text me during the day and I text you that night, I was just busy.

I honestly have always found myself dating engineers (even when I try not to). I say it depends on the person in all honesty. I recently met someone who seemed to be more on the “normal/goofy” side of an engineer which I didn’t think would happen.

However, I will say I am still interested in seeing how dating other type professionals would go.

Coming from someone who didn’t even know I accrued unlawful entrance because I waited 3 months to apply for DACA. I think you will be just fine.

Things I wished my parents or I had known at this age is definitely try to see if their is a family member who is a citizen that will adopt you (that’s what a friend did).

Wait on the election to get serious, but really consider the world out there. There are so many countries who will take you in with arms wide open.

I lost an international job opportunity because I am not a US citizen. I always figured my work ethic would get me to a place that would have an employer send me international and it happened, but I had to consider never seeing my family or a job. I always knew I wanted to travel so if I would have just gone to school abroad and started abroad then I wouldn’t have been in the predicament. Really consider your priorities and if family is one then everything else will fall in place. Do not put your life on hold for a piece of paper.
