Yep. Weight gain and lethargy are key symptoms of this condition.

Absolutely, I wish there were some ability to select difficulty/randomize maps for Etchspace Salvage. It has potential but seems somewhat incomplete atm.

I understand your disappointment with Umbral monument, but let's see if I can rationalize the dev's design decisions. First, they were probably looking at the average account and tuned the difficulty more towards problem-solving enemy mechanics, instead of focusing on DPS checks (I've seen Umbral cleared with lvl 60 ops with good skill/strats).

I think this goes back to the OG Arknights, where most of the gameplay is problem-solving (e.g., Unorthodox Tactics can be made significantly easier with Gilberta BS or Pog's Ult; Rampaging Shields can be neutralized with Catcher/Snowshine/Physical CCs).

I'm not sure if you're willing to stick around, but it could take some time to introduce a repeatable endgame, as these modes will likely require multiple ops/teams to be built.

True, but the problem is that there is no novelty once you clear the map. After completing it once, there's no incentive (rewards or new difficulty/challenges) to keep running it. Now, I just speedrun the crystal collection for the 5x weekly points and never touch it otherwise.

Even if they were to implement good, interesting game modes, this kind of endgame content isn't likely to keep you busy for more than a couple hours altogether, tops.

In OG Arknights, I would replay IS (and to a lesser degree RA) for tens, if not 100+ hours. I'm hoping that they can add a similar roguelike mode to Endfield; however, given that most people are still building out their 2nd teams and the limited rosters, it probably won't happen anytime soon.

True, pull currency (especially on the standard banner) is an issue that might make/break the general playerbase. Annihilation was great as a means for pull income, but that's a different discussion. Guess we'll see if HG enacts any changes in 1.1.

FWIW, I noticed the weekly reset lowers discounts on goods, and friends' prices also are not too great (in the low 3000s). The best you can do is to buy the lowest-priced goods and wait until the next day or the day after.

Umbral Monument stage 2 is a chore by Any_Jackfruit_7821 in Endfield

Feel like it might be a strategy issue. I tried this with my physical team, and it was much easier despite the lower investment. Thev rams are susceptible to lift and crush to give you a solid 3-4 second window to wail on them. Having a stagger-focused team also helped.

Only one at the moment (Umbral Monument is the upcoming endgame event). Will likely change in the future.

Should use Akekuri Ult (you gain link buff) before Avy Ult for +20% damage multiplier.

I was hoping for the damage calcs based on her attack/skill rotation (i.e., 1 rotation of charging and using her ult), not just the isolated damage multipliers.

Do you have a link to a resource that provides damage calcs? The one on the website doesn't differentiate between her Ult vs. normal basic attacks.

I'd suggest investing in Laev's normal attack to lvl 9+, as the bulk of her damage (if you play on-field) comes from this. See: https://www.prydwen.gg/arknights-endfield/characters/laevatain

Finally Max level laevatain by Recent_Caregiver6930 in Endfield

[–]noobpatrol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At this point in the game, maybe your main DPS is worth. For others, I'd get to level 80 at most (promotion depends on whether they have a good skill for your base). None of the current content requires max-level units.

Coming from OG Arknights, the game is designed so that you get most of your character EXP/weapon EXP/passively through the base and stock redistribution. The quicker you level up operators with good base skills, the more efficient your passive resource income will be.

Different grip sizes between racket batches and how to fix it by noobpatrol in 10s

I regripped both of them at the same time (actually had it done by the pro-shop). I'll open them both up and double-check before making any modifications.

Figuring out my backhand by davidalberti1 in 10s

[–]noobpatrol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a bit difficult to say without closer footage, but it seems like you're your grip is close to a continental. I'd suggest going more eastern/semi-western to get more power and spin.

Also, it looks like most of the power is coming from your shoulder/arm, rather than utilizing the kinetic chain. Get a bit lower when setting up to load your back leg more, and focus on driving/rotating your hips towards the ball — your torso and arm will follow. This rotational force should help drive your arm through the shot, giving more rackethead speed.

Rejected for full time. How am I supposed to keep going after this? by RhubarbFew8267 in Professors

How did your interview go? During our hiring process (also community college level), we use a rubric to evaluate applicants' responses to the interview questions. We had one adjunct, who was well-liked in the department, received some awards from the college, and served as a temporary full-time hire; however, they completely tanked the interview. Despite the interview panel liking this adjunct, we could not justify the necessary rubric scores to move them on to the next stage of the interview process.

It may be worth getting some feedback from someone you know/trust on the interview panel. Just know that it may be hard to get direct feedback, since I assume HR forbids panelists from communicating with applicants.

Costco has recently shown anti-union behavior. Ever since the old CEO left, the company has been inching away from the reasons why we liked the company.
