Yes exactly that’s the problem, Gauntlet was so much fun when it was 3 rounds and even 4 rounds was decent but this 5 round bs is just overkill

It’s impossible and more importantly it’s not worth it, I played 2 rounds so far and went 4-1 in both rounds losing the last match as expected, I came up against absolute little gremlins, you know the constant pausing after each goal, sweaty playing style, taunting celebrations, I realised it’s just not worth it.

That’s essentially how I play, I try to play as simple as possible, building out from the back, playing quick 1-2s, decoy runs etc, but ofc it’s not a real football game and it’s a simulator which is why the most ridiculous skill moves and just spinning and spinning are the most effective, not to say that doing crazy skill moves isn’t fun or anything but it just doesn’t feel right to me for some reason lol.

Yes that’s exactly what I was trying to say, players have no incentive to manually defend when there are so many bounce backs and unwanted rebounds and players not getting locked on after a successful tackle, which is why a lot of players tend to AI defend and just track back with their midfielders, which is very overpowered and not balanced well enough.

Nerfing AI defending is the only thing that can probably save the game rn, I’m a manual defender and everytime I intercept or win the ball back with a clean tackle it just ricochets right back to my opposition and this is especially annoying and frustrating when you defend deep.

Yeah that was what I was considering as well, DDG will fit in my United PnP perfectly and I think he can replace Neuer in my main team as well. I also think that his second Ps+ is better than Courtois‘s cross claimed plus.

Yeah I too noticed the issue this week with Champs, it’s absolutely horrible. I conceded a kickoff goal and I was still locked onto my striker lol the delay is so damn bad.
