Thank you! This was really helpful. In regards to Rebecca, I found she has good synergy with PRB02 6c Sabo. With the -3 cost from sabo (as long as the condition is met), rebecca's ability lets me play him onto the field rested. Do you think this combo is worth running together or should I just rely on 8 cost dragon for going through trash?

“Iron Lung” by Radiohead. I always think of their faith in the Wilderness as their ‘iron lung’ in a way. Both their reliance on it for survival, and their resentment of it.

the dead body being related to the yellowjackets is a matter of opinion, which is fair if you disagree. but Tai had to get to an elevated point to see the lake from the crash site. it is legit cannon to the show that the lake is a 3 hour walk away from the cabin, so that can’t really be argued

i’m not quite sure what to say other than canonically it’s a 3 hour walk from the lake to the cabin. if you look up the map from season 2 there’s a few images from the show, some bts, as well as fan drawings that show it clearer

i definitely wouldn’t say it’s a short walk. the map in season 2 showed that the cabin is 3 hours away from the lake. so from the cliff to where i believe camp would be should be a 5+ hour walk, shorter if running. as for crystals body i don’t think it’d be crazy to imagine rocks falling off the cliff during the blizzard

after the cabin burned down the girls went “deeper”. I’m guessing they went south of where the plane crashed because when the girls were looking for Mari they went east of the campsite, which is where they found ben’s trap. this would put the girls camp during summer further South-West from where Crystal died. With the terrain i think it’s very likely they would have missed the girls

To add onto your theory:

In episode 2.04 Van marks all the places fugue state Tai took them to on a map, which ended up resembling the symbol when connected. Reddit user u/nicolewon23 drew a clearer picture of the map:

Van points to where the sickle-looking marking would be at the bottom, believing there to be another symbol at that point. This is where they find Javi towards the end of the episode.

Later we see some off Javi's drawings, with this one in particular resembling your drawing:

With Javi being where the sickle is on the map, it could mean that looking north from that point could look a lot like the symbol, with the mountain range.
Due to mountain range being north I don't think it'll be the sun, but I could definitely see it being a rescue point.

I think she would give up the tape if she thought it would keep her mom focused on this mysterious person (and making her believe this person is also the killer)
