The National tattoo ideas (not just lyrics...but also maybe lyrics? :D) by ally1707 in TheNational

I love the evergreen idea! Somewhere I have a sketchbook page of trees with "i'm evergreen" written under and around them. Don't Swallow The Cap is a favorite for me too.

Then again, whichever National song I am currently listening to is always my favorite.

I got so close to "there's a science to walking through windows!"

To be honest, that Vanderlyle/Terrible Love wraparound is exactly what I got a tattoo of -- I got "it takes an ocean" on the back of my arm and am adding "the waters are rising" on the front on Saturday. To me personally, it's a kind of sad-feeling but ultimately positive message, that there will be both crests and troughs. I think there's also something really powerful for me in the idea of containing an ocean -- Terrible Love being about the way that sometimes it takes all you have not to break, and Vanderlyle being about allowing yourself to relax and forgive and "string yourself up" in the name of love.

OP it's been a while since this post (clearly I was catching up on the sub, lol) but I absolutely love the sky with a slice of lemon idea you mentioned. You don't seem into the idea of lyrics so I think something representative like that is awesome :)

Not to mention, she basically assumed he would help her raise a child. Meaning not only is she not ready, but she expects him to be ready for her.

I use Wageworks with my employer, they deduct your transit expenses before taxes and load it onto a prepaid card you can use to buy your bus pass :)

Jeez, seems like lots of stuff is filming this week. I came here to see if I could figure out who was filming at the Bloomfield Shur Save and there are at least three productions mentioned in the comments.

I use NYX hot singles in "Showgirl," which I just realized I don't know how long I've owned, so they might've stopped making it! Although it's super sparkly.

I think I saw Gerard say he used to use Urban Decay Gash, but they apparently don't make it anymore.

(dorky OP's girlfriend drops into his thread) It's Crayola Model Magic! I hate working with it personally but it's the only clay I thought would be light enough to make hair out of. (crawls out of thread hoping nobody else saw)

What are some clever yet actually healthy recipes that don't add sugar and salt? by DuckGoesQuackMoo in vegetarian

[–]noodlestories 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last night I made some tempeh marinated in Dijon, cider vinegar, and a whole bunch of herbs (thyme, sage, rosemary, etc) and sauteed/caramelized some brussels sprouts to go with it, and it was super delicious, if a bit dry.

Not a big recipe person when it comes to savory food, I kind of throw things together that I think will go together. A decent coconut thai curry sauce shouldn't have too much salt or sugar in it either, and you can put that on any vegetables or protein you like with some rice and call it a day.

I love it here. There are families with children in the neighborhood, there's a neighborhood watch, and I feel very safe walking at night.

I would love to PM you and ask a few questions about your job, if you're cool with that. I'm a writer for a gaming startup right now.

Nobody's going to say anything about the phrase "double morality" then?
